  • Enjoy the comforts of a private suite in an occupied home with separate entrance and side yard. House is located in South Anchorage with views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. A 15-minute drive from the airport and immediate access to the Seward Highway to take you south to Girdwood or north to Denali, wherever your travel adventures take you. One bedroom with ¾ bath and a half kitchen with an induction countertop electric burner. Fresh Alaskan coffee in K-cup or beans to grind to suit your taste. Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay. Great place to stay if you want to be away from the chaos of the city but close by. We only stayed one night since we were in town for an appointment but this would be a great home-base for travelers as well. Would definitely stay again!

It was a perfect place for us to stay for one night after we came in late from our flight. Everything was just like it said on the listing. We will be staying again when we come back to Anchorage in a few days.

This was an exceptional place to stay. The hostess keeps the place very clean, very updated, lots of amenities that make a person feel at home. She even has a dog bowl and dog bags for those who bring their pets and you would never know that pets had been there. Truly a wonderful experience!!

Such a comfortable, serene place. Alison has thought of everything. The VRBO is close to Anchorage and all points south thru the Turnagain Arm. This was a pitstop for us, but we wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here twice and will stay again if we come again to Anchorage. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. The living area was comfortable. The mini kitchen had everything we needed to cook, make coffee, etc.
