  • Welcome to our luxurious 2-bedroom loft located in the heart of downtown Anchorage. Currently undergoing an interior refresh to fit the brand, it comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, as one of the largest accommodation options downtown. Our well-appointed flat features a king master bedroom, a queen secondary bedroom, plus a large living room with a queen sleeper sofa and large windows for looking out over the bustle of the city. It includes a full modern kitchen and tiled walk-in bathroom. More photos coming soon! Nestled in the heart of downtown Anchorage, Salted Roots Basecamp is the ideal jumping off point for an unforgettable Alaskan adventure. Our accommodations blend urban convenience with boutique charm, Salted Roots Basecamp offers fully equipped ensuite kitchens, sleek tiled bathrooms, abundant natural light, and onsite perks including a coffee shop and yoga studio. We invite you to our newest urban experiment, where the best of the city awaits.

First texting with the host was very quick and easy. I traveled with 5 friends all older women. The neighborhood was save and very convenient for walking everywhere you want to go. We saved money on not using an uber. The loft was very clean, cute, and comfortable. Had everything you would need. Quality soaps and toiletries. The shower was powerful and hot. They even had a safe place to store our luggage since we had a late flight out. And the coffee shop down stairs was the cream of the crop! Wonderful coffee and pastries. I can’t say enough. All 6 of us were very happy with our stay and would recommend and would most definitely stay on our next trip to Anchorage.

This two bed loft worked great for our group of six for two nights. They kindly set up the pullout couch for us which made our late night arrival extra smooth. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. The location is walkable to many restaurants and the train. The living area doesn’t have curtains, but they did provide sleep masks for sleeping on the pullout. If you stay in the summer you may wish to bring your own.
