It is close to the market town of Andover where you will find shops, leisure facilities and many places of interest. Finkley Down Farm and the Museum of Iron Age are ideal for family days out and why not try one of the history trails such as Danebury Iron Age Hillfort. The city of Winchester is well worth a visit with its cathedral, King Arthur’s Round Table, the Science Centre and Planetarium. Approximately 23 miles away you will find Salisbury with its magnificent 13th-century Gothic cathedral, the Magna Carta and Europe’s oldest working clock.



Guests who enjoy exploring the countryside will find there are scenic walks from the door, including Savernake Forest, Collingbourne Woods and Devizes, with canal barges and lovely walks. Andover is rich in history with Saxon links.
