Creek Front Mountain Cabin with Jacuzzi.

Our cabin and local community were not impacted by the flooding in Western NC from Hurricane Helene. At this cabin you will find a place to escape stress, enjoy peace and quiet, relax, read, reunite with family or friends, explore nature or just meditate and renew your spirit. Imagine yourself on vacation, on your own private deck, relaxing in a rocking chair or hot tub to the sounds of a flowing mountain creek. The closest cabin to you is 100 yards across the creek and through the trees offering you privacy. At the same time, this cabin is only 8 minutes from downtown Andrews, a small town of 1,600 people that includes quaint craft, artisan and boutique shops, restaurants, a coffee shop, grocery store, drug store and even a local vineyard and winery called Calaboose Cellars.

The drive to the cabin is easy to access by car or by motorcycle. Even if it should snow or ice, this cabin is accessible with a regular front wheel drive vehicle.

Arrival and Check In: Upon your reservation we will send you detailed directions to the Cabin. Our in-town host will make sure the cabin is ready when you arrive, and is available during your stay should you have questions or concerns. We know you will enjoy your stay!

I will be glad to fully refund your reservation if there is a change in government policy restricting travel or use of vacation rental properties in Cherokee County, NC during the dates of your reservation. To keep my guests as safe as possible I will also fully refund your reservation should you become ill or test positive for COVID-19 and need to self quarantine..

Beautiful Wooded Retreat

My ideal spot, off the beaten path, quiet, and beautiful. Check in and getting into the house was easy, directions to the house were exact. House was clean, besides a little sticky spill in a table in one bedroom that hadn't been wiped away from the previous renter. Didn't take much effort to wipe up. Took me a minute to realize the "twin beds" in the 3rd bedroom space was a trundle bed. Internet was spotty, and the movie we watched one night kept buffering, but we got through it. Otherwise, everything was great. We spent a lot of time out of the house, exploring the town and surrounding areas, but the time we did spend at the house was worthwhile. House was well stocked with basic necessities, appliances worked as expected. One bathtub did have a little bit of a slow drain, the other one seemed fine. The kids loved the brook, stacking rocks and salamander hunting. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The property is just beautiful, and despite several nearby cottages, it was relatively quiet. Andrews itself is so quant. We had lunch at the Burger Basket and Morning Fog, and dinner and a beer at The Hoppy Trout. Everything we are was delicious, and the bartender at the Trout have us some history on the town and Junaluska. Also enjoyed shopping at several stores, the record store especially is quite a gem. We hope to make it back someday!

A fairytale cabin

Very impressed with his property the beds were comfortable. Love the outdoors had to be my favorite hello the most covered yard my sister and two grandsons 12 and 14 love the place would love to come back one day. The cabin was just what we needed.

Cabin was very nice. Came up to do some motorcycle riding. Very clean and well maintained. Everything worked as expected. The only downside for us was the gravel driveway up to the cabin with the bikes. We figured it out though. Overall very satisfied.

Amazing experiece! My family and I had the most peaceful time staying in this cabin. Everything is clean, comfortable and the furniture is perfect for us bigger people. The beds were very comfortable and the recliner in the living room was a blessing for my mother who due to her disability can't sleep on a bed. Waking up to the birds singing in the morning was such a treat. My favorite part was having my coffee in the back porch with the sound of the creek to help me relax. The only sad part was having to pack and go back to reality. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Charming cabin

Absolutely loved this location! Cabin sits on the creekside and the ambient sounds from the creek can be heard all throughout the cabin. Cabin is small but was a perfect fit for our small family. Only had one question (sent 2 messages about it) for the host and unfortunately it didn’t get answered until well after our trip ended. This didn’t impact our trip nor the enjoyment of the cabin. Cabin was very clean and location was perfect.

My trips was perfect other than no internet due to a storm before my arrival. And I was not able to get the fireplace to work inside the cabin. I loved the location and the landscape of the property. I plan on staying here again!

Beautiful place

Nestled in the woods it was a beautiful place. Sitting on a very nice stream. Serene and quite. Cabin was well up to date and spotless. Unfortunately due to work issues we had to return back home before we could really even enjoy it. Hope to return later this year maybe in the Fall

Very tranquil and relaxing. A few updates would be nice though.

The property was amazing and the sound of the stream was magical. The only drawbacks weird the bedding(pillows mostly, but not all the mattresses are ideal), the WiFi being pretty rough and no Blu-ray player(not that big a deal if you’re trying to disconnect). But again overall an amazing place to relax and catch up with friends/family.

Quiet place to unwind

Had a great time at the cabin. Even though there was snow leading to the house, I was able to get to and from with little issue. Would recommend AWD/4WD to be on the safe side. Cabin had everything you need to cook your meals there. Not much around but Ingles gets you what you need. Owner was helpful.

The accommodations were very inviting and relaxing. Very clean and the view was wonderful. There was approximately 4 inches of snow on the ground making it beautiful but hard to access in a car. We look forward to returning in the spring or fall.

Beautiful place to stay
