We took a top floor room which had a full sun terrace with fantastic sunset views. ( well worth the extra € if available. It was a shame about the wind but all the Cyclades suffer from this but it did take the edge off the holiday. None of the churches were open which was a shame. Strangely the service in restaurants was almost too fast with all food arriving at once

We have travelled extensively in Greece and Andros has superseded Paros as my favourite Greek Island.
Amazing island. Very beautiful. But not really set up for tourists. The staff are mainly used to dealing with Greek holiday makers. Not people from rest of the world. And you can’t get to most of the beaches they rave about unless you have a 4x4
