Check in was easy, the resort is a nice place, our room was clean and large, we had a balcony and enjoyed sitting out there. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only complaint was the sink drained slow and water filled up in the sink. There was no open restaurants on site for evening dinner. But we were referred to a nice pub and grub and a pizza parlor just down the hill, is walking distance, the pub was nice. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

We just love staying at the lodge at Angel fire. The hotel and room are always clean with ample space. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and hard working (especially Phillip at the front desk). My boys absolutely love the pool and hot tub. And, not to mention the incredible location in Angel fire. This was our 4th or 5th visit and we have never found anything to complain about.

There was no air conditioning in our room. The elevators were hard to find and then navigate with luggage carts. there were folks in the hot tub - not from the hotel...had their clothes laying all over at the bottom of the stairs. No ac, just open air w the balcony and air purifier. Fireplace worked, As Paris Hilton says, “It’s Beyond”. Meaning, the stay and experience was over the top amazing! Cleanliness, the staff, (check in) I forgot her name but she was super polite, understanding, helpful and pleasant. We have never stayed at a hotel like this, it was a whole new experience of high class. The hotel itself was super clean, our room was very beyond! Clean and soft sheets, towels, floor, furniture, very comfortable bed, ( my kids were out and snoring) i slept amazing too. The shower….. OMG was perfect! The water was hot fast, roomy and the room had a lot of space. All in all, id stay here again and only here. Thank you for a great time!!!!

Loved the location! Being on the slopes was very convenient. Rooms are large with plenty of storage for gear. Front desk was very courteous and very quick to address all needs. The coffee shop on site was a great warm up after being out in the cold. The other restaurants onsite were a bit pricy. Only complaint is they need to do something about heat in the pool areas. The pool and hot tub are indoors but it is SO cold in that room that it makes it hard to actually enjoy them.

I wish we would have ha a room with a window to the outside. Our room was inside overlooking the pool so the noise of the kids playing in the pool echoed in our room, not too late into the night thankfully.

There was no A/C in our room, only a box fan . The temperature in our room was uncomfortably warm. Staff was friendly when I inquired about getting a room with A/C, but no other rooms were available. It may not be uncommon for hotels in NM not to have A/C in all their rooms we were just not accustomed to that and our family didn’t sleep well as a result . Luckily , we only stayed one night , but it would’ve been a major issue had we booked this room for longer.
