Your next ski vacation will be a dream with this condo in Angel Fire, boasting mountain views and easy access to downhill skiing. With a beautiful stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private deck for enjoying the fresh air - this condo has everything you need! On top of that, the August 2023 renovations, which include new carpeting, a new bathroom, and new mattresses, ensure your satisfaction.

This comfortably furnished condo is located just 300 feet from the ski area and conveniently along the shuttle route. Angel Fire and the surrounding area offer many great outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, tubing, and sledding!

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The good- close to ski slope, comfortable, and easy access to all things around. The bad- fire wood provided was too big for fire place. View of ski slope obscured by construction (they’re building another ski lift right outside the window). Ski rental place across the street starts playing music at 7:30-8:00 every morning. Plugs in master bedroom are wore out and don’t make good connection with phone chargers. Smoke detector was chirping when we got there and had to stand on a stool to get it down. No batteries to fix it inside. Door looked like it had been kicked in and has gap around where the latch closes.

Great Location - NO HEAT

I'm sure Vacasa will point out that the listing only specifies the fireplace as a source of heat. I didn't read between the lines and realize there is literally NO other heat source. Fortunately we had brought a small space heater. The fireplace works great, but there were NO instructions left on how to use it. I bought some firestarter sticks at the grocery store. If tended all day, the entire unit will warm up, almost too warm, but unless you get up periodically to keep adding wood, the fire will go out and rooms will get cold. Maintaining a comfortable temperature is impossible. There are thermostats and indications in the online instructions about heat but no heaters. We rented another unit at Gold Creek with same thermostats and in-room baseboard and in-wall heaters and it was great. If not for this, I'd definitely use this unit again, but with no heat I'd look for another unit at least for cold season.

Disappointed

Front for had been broken into... we were unable to enter condo unit because the lock was compromised and door had been broken previously and screwed together. Disposal did not work and there were no sheets or bedding of any kind on couch pull out bed. Frank the building maintenance manager did his best but our condo was not work $3500! I am severely disappointed

Convenient to slopes, but dated and tired

Nice enough 2-br as advertised and recently reviewed. Excellent access to ski rental shops and slopes, so knew I was paying for those conveniences. Rooms were comfortable enough and modestly outfitted. Specific detractors include: beds had old, non-pillow-top mattresses which have seen better days and were not overly comfortable; carpet rumpled and worn (but clean) - needs replacing; remote control for Dish didn't work even with fresh batteries so had to adjust channels using clunky controls on the unit; bathroom tiny but fully functional; dining table unclean - had old food smudges on it; no paper towels although specifically listed as included; microwave new but stove and dishwasher very dated (although worked flawlessly). Worst thing was that no one at front desk; four different names and numbers given on a paper taped up but could not reach anyone for support: voicemail full on one; no response to a message left at another; one a disconnected number; last one just rang and rang. Renters should expect no support. Knew the place was old. Knew I was paying for convenience to slopes. Will make a different choice next time.
