Villa Gema Antequera - La Joya by Ruralidays

This holiday home is ideal for those who want to find a tranquil place in order to spend a relaxing holiday. The amazing views will soon make the garden your favourite spot of the house.

Outside there is more than enough space to enjoy a copious lunch with the family. There is a traditional barbecue in the garden allowing you to prepare the best home cooked meals. During warm summer days you can refresh yourself by taking a dive into the swimming pool or reading a book with the only noise on the background being the chirping of birds.

Without limiting the privacy of the holiday home, the village of La Joya is nearby. You can reach it within 3 minutes. Here you find groceries, bakeries, restaurants and druggists (farmacias). Within 10 minutes you can reach the village Villanueva de la Concepcion. This village is bigger and offers more amenities.

There is a bedroom with a double bed and there are two bedrooms with each two single beds. There are two bathrooms of which one has a bath and the other one has a shower. The kitchen is linked with the living room. The holiday home disposes of a dishwasher, an oven, heating, WIFI and a fireplace.

The holiday home is situated in the region of the nature reserve El Torcal de Antequera. El Torcal de Antequera is situated at 11 km distance and is a well-known highland is Andalusia. Here you can go hiking or trekking and discover this spectacular environment. At only 14 km distance there is the centre of Antequera.

Excellent property we (5 senior adults) used as base for hiking El Torcal and Caminito del Rey and visiting Cordoba. Unbelievable view from property, excellent pool. Not a luxurious property but everything needed for a very comfortable stay is provided. Excellent communication with hosts. Would return!

Stunning location with outstanding views

The villa is set in beautiful surroundings. Peace and quiet was what we were looking for and it didn’t disappoint. The villa was very clean and well presented. It was really nice to see a good selection of crockery and wine/beer glasses we could use. We did buy a couple of items that were useful during our 3-week stay. The AC in the bedrooms were quiet and the beds, whilst firm, were comfortable, and bed linen was super-clean and ironed. The pool area and gardens were well laid out and the bar and BBQ area was perfect for al fresco dining. La Joya which is a few minutes away by car has a handy mini market open on some days for a few hours, but the main shopping is in Antequera which has numerous supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The drive takes about 25 minutes. We recommend Mesón Adarve to eat - excellent food! Overall, for us it was about the peacefulness of the place. We watched the sun rise in the morning sitting on the front porch (on a very comfortable outdoor sofa), overlooking the valley and listening to the distant ringing of the bells on the goats being brought down the mountainside each morning. Sometimes it was so quiet during the day, all we could hear was the buzzing of the bees, the birds and the breeze rustling through the trees. A wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Accueil très sympathique dans une maison agréable qui ceci dit manque un peu de rangement notamment dans la cuisine et une des chambres. Petit point negatif les aboiements noctures constants des chiens alentours. Vue magnifique, ensoleillement au top. Voiture pkus qu'obligatoire

Prachtige plek, fantastisch uitzicht en omgeving

Kleine oase van rust in prachtige omgeving. Heerlijk wandelen, fietsen (e-bikes) en chillen bij het zwembad met bar en bbq. Fenomenaal uitzicht! Wel met een goede kaart en online alles even voorbereiden want het prijswinnend kaasboertje heeft geen reclamebord. Host Maria staat altijd met raad en daad voor je klaar en het zwembad wordt een paar keer per week schoongemaakt. Wel iets voor rustzoekers en mensen die daar van houden. In de buurt zijn genoeg restaurantjes maar voor shoppen en het strand moet je echt wel even rijden. Wij waren er voor de tweede keer en we love it!

Vacances Andalouse

Nous avons séjourné pendant 2 semaines dans une région magnifique et avons profité du soleil ainsi que des sites à visiter. Nous avons choisi cette maison car elle était située au centre des lieux à visiter Malaga, Cordoue, Grenade et Séville. L'accueil des propriétaires était chaleureux et bienviellant,la maison correspond à l'annonce. La piscine était à bonne température et le soleil est présent jusqu'à 21:00, que dire de la vue ... Époustouflante car nous prenions tous nos repas devant ce magnifique paysage. Pas besoin de climatisation car le vent rafraichis la maison durant la journée et la température est agréable la nuit (ma crainte dans les régions chaude). Merci à Maria et son mari en leur souhaitant une bonne continuation.
