「This is a wonderful property. It was clean, well-maintained, and exceptionally peaceful. It is only five minutes to a beautiful hiking trail in Soledad Canyon, about 15 minutes to an equally beautiful trail in Dripping Springs, and about 45 minutes to White Sands National Park (which is well worth the drive). The owner (Theo) was easily reachable and generally replied to our pre-visit questions within just a few minutes. I highly recommend this property.」

We should have offered to share the wine so we could have had her personal recommendations and info about places to eat and things to see. Mary Helen seemed very nice and personable. 「This is the cutest little VRBO. It's perfect for a small family with one or two young kiddos who plan to explore El Paso during the day or as a single traveler. The quarters are small but super comfy. The water is hot; there is no time to warm up, but quick showers are recommended. There are so many fun foods and quirky restaurants around the location, and it's about a 25-minute drive to Fort Bliss (depending on gate openings). My only suggestion...bring a wine opener.」
