"Super amazing hotel. Slightly dated but very clean and family friendly. Important thing is a ski in ski out with great buffet dinner for food. We had snow crab legs free flow!!! "

"White Rose Inn was a great place to stay in Appi Kogen. Hostess was absolutely amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The inn is very comfortable, lovely room and great shower. Easy to get to the ski hill. Breakfast each morning was very good. The town itself is quite small, but a beautiful, quiet place to stay. Absolutely recommend staying here, than you!"

"Super nice getaway. There is not much around but this hotel is pretty much an all inclusive. They feed you breakfast and dinner buffet with late night snack as well. The food was great and overall was highly impressed with the value. Be careful planning your transportation too and from though as it is very limited. "

"Sato san and Nora san were the perfect hosts for our 4-night stay. Food was very good and the pension was warm and cozy. Our room was spacious enough and had a wonderful view of sunrise and even part of Mt Iwaki. Our room package came with daily breakfast and dinner. We felt we were staying with good friends and every dinner was pleasantly spent with Sato san, Nora san and fellow guests. Bon-chan was a delightful addition to the experience too. Sato san and Kazu san took turns to send or pick us to and from the APPI Plaza, which was only about 3 minutes' drive away. Sato san has a cool style, and is a creative person who cooks very well too. His pension has touches of his art and his philosophy of life is beautful. I highly recommend this pension to anyone who wants to ski at APPI Kogen. We rented his ski gear which were of good quality but at a fraction of the price at the APPI Plaza rental place. "
