A wonderful stay in a beautiful house

We had a great stay! The beautiful terrace, the big modern kitchen, the design interior of the house, nice big TV, good beds and good Wifi. The private parking space was hard to get out of in reverse.

It's a wonderfully equipped and decorated house with a lovely terrace. We felt directly at home. It's a pitty that there is no table and chairs on the terrace (to eat outside) and the terrace was also still dirty (candle wax and stains).

A very chic property with nice views of the cliffs

It is obvious the owner has invested substantially in making this a very chic property. The design is quite lovely, the house has all necessary ammenitied for staying there even for longer than a couple of days (wish they had some good discounts for medium term rentals). The terrace is lovely in the morning and during the day - astrophotography possible at night ) The beds (mattresses) are comfy, and the location is quiet, so a good rest is also guaranteed. There's a wood pellet heater, in case anyone needs it, and also AC in every room - perfect. The kitchen has everything one needs (well, not for baking, but meals can be easily prepared). The home2book team was also attentive and helpful, check-in and check-out was seamless. There are a few things that could be added to raise even more the comfort of the house: Better pillows: the current ones are rock hard. Shower curtain: the water is inevitably sprayed and spilled into the bathroom, as there's nothing to stop it. WiFi coverage: the wifi settings must be optimized despite being a 3m distance from the router to the TV, the connection is spotty/breaks if a wifi repeater is not placed in the socket directly under the TV (download/upload speeds are amazing if the connection is stable).

Optik ist nicht alles

Eines vorweg: wir sind nur drei von den sieben gebuchten Tagen geblieben und haben die zusätzlichen Kosten einer anderen Unterkunft in Kauf genommen. Das Haus in Arafo ist wirklich sehr schön saniert und sehr hochwertig eingerichtet. Vom Mobiliar bis zur Hardware alles 1a. Aber: das Haus riecht nicht nur unangenehm nach Baustelle, die offenen Bimsteindecken sorgen für eine schwer atembare und staubige Luft. Wäre es möglich gewesen bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen, wären wir trotzdem geblieben. Ab vier Uhr morgens machen die vielen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft lebenden Hähne jeden Schlaf unmöglich. Wer gerne stundenlanges Krähen und nicht enden wollendes Hundegebell mag, wohnt in einem wunderschönen Haus mit durchwachsenem Ausblick. Direkt unter dem Haus befindet sich eine Müllhalde für Bauschutt und ähnliches.
