Stunning property on the outskirts of Arcachon

We had a wonderful stay in this stunning villa. The area was quiet and peaceful and the pool area was gorgeous. The villa was light and airy and the beds comfortable. The kids loved the pool table and table football. We loved having a gas bbq and outdoor seating for meals in the evenings. Thanks so much. Wendy and family

Stunning Villa with everything you need

Villa California is simply stunning. Beautifully designed and beautifully furnished. Beds all very comfy and kitchen experimentally well equipped. Highlight is of course the huge pool and beautiful view over the pine forest at the back. Improvements? Not many I can think of but aircon for the bedrooms would be very welcome. That said it wouldnā€™t put us off returning at all

Beautiful house in a great location.

Villa California is a lovely property in a great location. The rental process was outstanding with the owner being in regular touch and very flexible about check in and out. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The pool was a good size and well kept so the kids had a lovely time in it every day. Bikes were a great option to get to the beach, but it would be possible to walk as well. Thank you for a great week.

Une villa vraiment superbe, Ć  l'agencement magnifiquement bien pensĆ©. Quant Ć  l'emplacement il est parfait, trĆØs au calme et proche de tout ce qui nous faisait envie : la plage, la ville, la dune, les bars... Nous Ć©tions plusieurs nageurs dans la maison, et une piscine de 14 mĆØtres est un luxe fabuleux. La propretĆ© est irrĆ©prochable. Lovely spacious modern retreat

We got in contact with the family before arriving and they kept us informed about the progress of the swimming pool, sending us pictures. The house was bright and spacious with 5 large bedrooms and generous family living spaces. But the star was the pool - it was a fantastic size and good for laps or for lying on an inflatable. The house is on a quiet street set amongst the pines in a quiet part of Arcachon. It is not a party house. The Bikini bar and beach are an easy 20min stroll away - very safe for swimming. We had a great week in 30degree heat at the end of August. The house is well served for public transport, the bus service is really good and just a 10min walk downhill. The security deposit is high but it is a brand new house so understandable and was refunded within 1 week. Everything took place through the HomeAway platform for added security for both parties which was great. The owners were a joy to deal with and on hand locally if anything was needed. They provided lots of useful information about places to go.

TrĆØs agrĆ©able sĆ©jour

Nous avons passĆ© une trĆØs bonne semaine avec nos deux filles de 8 et 10 ans dans cette villa. Xavier et sa femme sont trĆØs prĆ©venants (c'est la premiĆØre fois en beaucoup de locations qu'on nous propose de venir nous chercher et nous raccompagner Ć  la gare!). La maison est au bout d'une ruelle bordĆ©e de trĆØs jolies villas contemporaines. Notre fille de 8 ans a pu sans risque s'y entraĆ®ner au vĆ©lo. Tout (commerces, plages...) est d'ailleurs accessible depuis la maison via des pistes cyclables, ce qui est un vrai plaisir. La maison et la terrasse donnent directement sur la forĆŖt et le dĆ©paysement est total. La construction d'une piscine au printemps 2017 devrait rendre cette villa encore plus agrĆ©able ! Le choix architectural d'une maison trĆØs moderne et largement ouverte sur l'extĆ©rieur par le biais de grandes baies vitrĆ©es peut aussi bien sĆ©duire que dĆ©contenancer. Les photos sont sans doute le meilleur moyen de se faire sa propre idĆ©e ! Pour notre part, nous sommes en tout cas ravis de notre sĆ©jour !

Merveilleuses vacances...

Nous Ć©tions un couple et 2 enfants et nous avons passĆ©s de merveilleuses vacances dans cette trĆØs belle villa arcachonnaise, au contact d'une nature aussi belle que gĆ©nĆ©reuse. La maison est trĆØs vitrĆ©e et lumineuse et la vue sur la forĆŖt est magnifique. Nous avons pu nous reposer au calme et profiter de la nature tout en allant Ć  la plage ou en ville Ć  pied ou en vĆ©lo. Nous repartons remplis de beaux souvenirs...jusqu'aux prochaines vacances !
