“This house is incredibly spacious and easy to feel at home in. We thought it was walking distance to the beach but it's way too overgrown to do that safely, and you're limited to a small view of the lake from the back of the house, or a better one from the upstairs deck. The kitchen is huge and has high quality appliances, including ice maker, and the eat in kitchen has seating for four as does the front living room, so nowhere for five or more to eat together. “My wife and I booked this cottage for a 3 day getaway. The host was a great communicator and was willing to help us with any information we needed. The cottage is in a great location. Real close to Lake Michigan with a view of Portage Lake. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The only negative is the shower is very small and hard to move around in. Overall an extremely positive experience and I would definitely stay again. ”
