"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "Hotel in excellent position, lovely seating at the front of the hotel, sun all day! Bar and lounge areas are beautiful! However, our room was not clean, the bed valences were very dirty and the chrome towel rail was covered in dirty water marks. There were paint splashes everywhere, looked like the paintwork had been freshened up by a child. The beds felt hard and low quality, my partner was ok but i sleep on my side and woke up with my hips feeling bruised. Tea, cofee etc was not replenished in three days apart from when we asked. Ending on a positive, the breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and helpful."
