Lakefront Calabogie cottage with a private sauna, shallow beach, dock, gazebo, and beautiful open water views. A four-season getaway for families, couples, or guests looking for a relaxed waterfront stay close to skiing, golf, hiking, and Calabogie Motorsports Park.

In warmer months, enjoy swimming, paddling, boating, and evenings by the water. In cooler months, unwind in the sauna, cozy up by the fire, and take in the peaceful winter setting.

Spend your days swimming, paddling, relaxing by the shore, or enjoying the large lawn and lake views. The cottage is a great fit for families, couples, or guests looking for a comfortable lakefront stay with easy access to Calabogie’s outdoor activities year-round. It includes two private bedrooms plus additional sleeping space, making it especially well suited to families or guests comfortable with a flexible setup.

Guests can enjoy private lakefront access with beautiful open views, a shallow beach area ideal for families, a private sauna, a dock with easy water access, a gazebo or screened lakeside sitting area, a fireplace, and a spacious deck and lawn. Water and outdoor equipment includes 1 canoe, 2 paddleboards, 3 adult kayaks, 3 kids’ kayaks, as well as sports equipment for volleyball and badminton. Snowshoes are also available for winter use.

The property is close to Calabogie Peaks, golf, hiking, and Calabogie Motorsports Park, making it an easy base for both relaxing lake days and active outdoor weekends.

Guests have access to the private beach, lounge chairs, private electric sauna, dock and waterfront seating areas, gazebo, spacious deck and lawn, Wi-Fi, and all listed sports and water equipment.

One of the nicest things for us was easy access to our own private beach. The cabin was well supplied and true to the description. The main windows face East showing beautiful sunrises.

The property was beautiful, clean and was far nicer than the pictures indicated. The hosts were friendly and responsive. My father and I have mobility issues, the property really leant itself to easy accessibility which made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Great winter family getaway!

Great cabin on the water in Calabogie

went dirt biking with some friends, we wanted a location conveniently near the riding area. This rental met all our needs, beds were comfortable, all the amenities were there (even coffee and tea!). Hosts are very responsive, will plan on staying here again the next time we're back in Calabogie!

Delightful Home away from Home

Comfortable cottage interior with plenty of necessary supplies on a spacious waterfront lot. Huge outdoor patio and cozy gazebo by the lake. Plenty of amenities and activities.....hiking, golfing, kayaking, barbecuing, plenty of eateries nearby. Great place for families to spend time and bond together indoors and outdoors. Our stay was filled with warmth, plenty of autumnal scenery, interesting conversations, reading, relaxation, fire and sunset gazing. We had the privilege of viewing a trio of otters feeding just beyond the floating dock.

Spacious and comfortable

The cottage was large , beds comfortable. The overall impression was of an older, shabby and not well maintained property. Windows not clean, screen doors ripped, the deck covered in branches and leaves. Lower lawn and beach area suffered from Canada geese who poop and made it unusable. The lawn chairs were covered in grass clippings. Glassware and dishes old and stained, mostly plastic. It was fine for a short visit but not a place I would go for more than a day or two, especially if entertaining. Needs a refresh.

Exceptional value for the price

My wife and I from Ottawa usually spend 3 or 4 nights in late June at a cottage/camp with my daughter who lives in Montreal. It has always been difficult to find a nice place that has beach access, privacy and other activities. In the past few years, it has been more difficult as my daughter now has a cat. We were thrilled to find this cottage at Calabogie It did not disappoint us. We enjoyed the privacy as well as swimming, kayaking and firepit. It was good that it also had air conditioning as the temperatures hit 32C, feels like 42C everyday we were there. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen was good. I would strongly recommend this cottage. But I must put a caveat on this for seniors (such as us) or persons with mobility issues. The bathroom does not have any grab bars, the front stairs do not have any railings, the railings on the stairs to the back deck need repair and the air conditioner is in the loft, which is accessed by a ladder. Our daughter was able to climb up to operate the controls. We know the owners are working to improve the cottage by adding a sauna and doing other upgrades. Despite our concerns, we did enjoy our stay and are sure others will too.

Relaxing Getaway

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront cottage. The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures. The cottage was very modern and clean on the inside. The backyard was lovely, well kept and had a private beach. It was a perfect getaway. Hosts were very responsive. Would stay there again.

Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future.

Enjoyable stay

Property was as described with a surprisingly large private property. Sand beach was welcome and the number of watercraft provided and outdoor games was excellent. The host, Alice, was very responsive and quick to provide answers to our questions. Our entire family, including young adults and elderly grandma, enjoyed our stay and created fun new memories.

Just perfect!!!!

Had an amazing stay. The cottage is Was exactly what we were looking for. Felt very comfortable there. The yard was nice and large. Our 2 year old loved the room to run. The gazebo by the beach was so helpful to stay away from the mosquitoes for me and my 2 month old. Highly recommended this cottage. The host was very pleasant to deal with. We will coming back for sure.

Nice property in beautiful area

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property is big and beautiful. The cottage could use a bit of extra cleaning and TLC but overall was comfortable and suited our needs. We enjoyed ourselves and it was very relaxing. The check out time of 10:00am to 10:30am is a little early as we had to rush to get out on time but it's not a deal breaker. We would definitely rent this cottage again in the future.

Great location and wonderful stay!

Our stay was amazing at this wonderful cozy cottage. The property is STUNNING with great beach, fire pit and screened in area. Tons of grassy area to run and play too. We look forward to coming back soon!
