The room was clean, breakfast nice (though could have had more options), the balcony was gorgeous and the spa was amazing. It was lacking a few basic amenities like conditioner, a mini fridge, espresso capsules for each day. The room was also quite tight for two people to stay in. But overall this was made up for by the atmosphere of the hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Kids friendly and good food!

We all enjoy our stay in Faern Arosa Altein, we really liked the food. We liked the fact that the hotel (and seemly the whole town) is very welcoming for children. They even got to try the Spa!

Amazing, family-friendly, dog-friendly gem a five-minute walk into town, 8 minutes to the ski slopes. Can also take the bus to a number of the ski lifts or outdoor activities. The hotel has a range of activities, including a movie room and game room, to keep everyone entertained. The food was delicious and good variety.

It’s nestled away in the beautiful Swiss alps. Walking distance from the train station. Food was great and service superb. The only mild annoyance is after staying four days the charged me 2 Chf for additional pods of coffee.

Wonderful place to stay in Arosa!

What a wonderful stay! The staff, hotel overall, and my room were amazing! Easy walk to the train station, COOP grocery story, and more. A fascinating history of this building/hotel! New owners totally renovated the interior a year ago. Breakfast was amazing, even bacon! Loved seeing the Arosa Bear Sanctuary and high mountains with free cable car due to local tourist card.

The Faern is a work in progress. It’s nicely designed and has a good location with rooms offering stunning views. It only opened recently so there is still some construction happening and the staff could use some more training. But in the long run this will be a very nice option to stay in Arosa.

Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. At least the staff was friendly and helpful at the reception, although fairly inattentive with dining (the one time I was able to enjoy a meal)

Not just one of many.

Really enjoyable place to stay. Check-in: warmly welcomed. Even we didn’t share language, we managed to get all the info. Room: really clean and modern. Room for skies and boots: easy access. Boots were dry in the morning. All good. Breakfast: nice atmosphere and choises were well enough. Not 5star, but enough protein to get you going till lunch time. Kids: movie (dubbed) night every night and game room. Spa: saunas, cold pool and heated pool with bubbles. Parking: short of spaces, but public carage 2 min walk. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.
