“WARNUNG: Dieses Hotel nicht benutzen, wenn Sie mit einer BMW 1250 GS reisen!!! Das Hotel selbst war sauber und das Personal freundlich genug, aber die Dusche war extrem alt, klein und verschimmelt. Außerdem konnte das Badezimmerfenster nicht geöffnet werden, um zu lüften, da das Waschbecken im Weg war. Es gab zudem keine Möglichkeit, das Fenster für Privatsphäre zu verdecken. Bei der Ankunft haben wir ausdrücklich gefragt, ob wir unsere drei Motorräder abseits der Straße parken können. Uns wurde……

“We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch. We came back a few days later on our way back and the owner was thrilled to see us. When he realized he had us staying in the same room as a few days earlier, he……

“The hotel, whilst it looks fine from the entrance, is tired and in need of significant investment. The location is fantastic. Best part. We had a superior room with a fabulous direct view of Monte Bianco. Bathroom is old, dirty pointing around the bath, fittings at least 20 years old, broken dirty fan, etc. And they don’t make the beds properly-no duvet cover-just a duvet sandwiched between two sheets which turns into a twisted mess by morning. Breakfast was ordinary-lots of pastries, limited……

“Lovely apart hotel in Dolonne, a quiet location. The rooms are excellent, spotless and so very comfy. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Only a couple of negatives, one is the ongoing works which means workmen start at 8am (on one day it was 7) and continue through to usually 5pm but one night it was 8pm. It’s bearable but a bit annoying. Secondly, during a football match someone was allowed to set off firecrackers outside, just below our room which wasn’t ok, after all, we were……

“Our flight arrived late. We tried calling the hotel several times to let them know we would arrive after 11pm. There was no answer. Upon arrival just after midnight, there was no lights on outdoors or indoors. It was very dark. I rang the bell/intercom, it answered and said leave a message. I ended up sleeping in my car infront the hotel. When it got light I checked and again nobody was in the reception. At 745am somebody opened the door, I asked he if worked there he said no, he hasn't seen……
