The Space:
Schlaraffenland 2 by Tiny Away is nestled in the breathtaking wilderness of Ashby Heights, just 27 minutes from Bundjalung National Park and 20 minutes from the charming town of Maclean, known for its picturesque rural scenery, historic buildings, and local produce.

This tiny house is positioned next to lush bushland on the edge of a cleared area, with easy driveway access and natural screening for privacy. Near Woody Head, the nearest scenic beach area in Bundjalung National Park. Brooms Head, located on the far North Coast NSW, features pristine beaches, while Back Beach offers a peaceful place for relaxation.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Schlaraffenland 2," available with 24 hours' notice. The distance between the holiday homes is 40m.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and explore outside the fenced area.

We have four rescued greyhounds, and alpacas will be joining them soon inside the fenced area. While this space is private, guests are welcome to meet and pet the animals.

The Neighborhood:
Schlaraffenland 1 by Tiny Away sits in Ashby Heights region, just 27 minutes from Bundjalung National Park. The park is renowned for its coastal scenery, diverse wildlife, and lush rainforests.

In just 20 minutes, visit the charming town of Maclean, known for its Scottish roots. For a beach day, head to Yamba (28 minutes away) with its stunning beaches and fun water activities. Other nearby spots include Brooms Head, a quiet village known for its great surfing. Woody Head in Bundjalung National Park, perfect for camping and fishing.

Back Beach, a peaceful sandy spot just 26 minutes away; and Evans Head, only 46 minutes away, offering excellent fishing opportunities. Don’t miss the Clarence River, ideal for boating, fishing, and river tours in Yamba.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 20 mins drive to Yamba
- 20 mins drive to Maclean
- 1 hr drive from Coffs Harbour
- 1 hr drive to or from Byron Bay

By public transport:

We recommend guests travel by private vehicle as there are no direct transportations to our tiny home. If you come from the city like Sydney, you can follow these steps:

- Take a train from Sydney to either Liverpool or Campbelltown, then use a taxi or rideshare to reach Ashby Heights.
- Or you can consider rideshare options for a direct trip from Sydney to Ashby Heights.

Coffs Harbour to Ashby Heights:

By Bus: Take a bus service from Coffs Harbour to nearby towns, then use a taxi or rideshare to reach Ashby Heights.
By Train:Travel by train from Coffs Harbour to Casino, then take a taxi or rideshare to Ashby Heights.

Byron Bay to Ashby Heights:

By Bus: Take a bus from Byron Bay to nearby towns, then use a taxi or rideshare to get to Ashby Heights.
Rideshare: Consider using rideshare services for a direct trip from Byron Bay to Ashby Heights. If you need more details or assistance, feel free to ask!

Other Things to Note:
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Tap water available inside the house
- No uninvited guests or visitors allowed
- Mobile phone reception has a weak signal
- We have four rescue greyhounds, inside the fenced area
- No smoking inside the tiny home, except in designated areas
- Firewood is available for $25; kindling and fire starter included
- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Farm guidelines

- Remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission 

Important note:

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
