A nice quiet getaway. We witnessed a beautiful proposal at the gazebo. Our first choice of cabin had to be changed due to some cleanliness issue. It was taken care of quickly and we were able to get into another cabin.

The Inn and Mount Michell Cabin was a great getaway for our family! We enjoyed the breakfast every morning around 9 and met some very nice people every morning! We enjoyed the quail, chickens -esp Bender, the rooster and the two goats on our morning walk back from breakfast! A beautiful place To get away!

This place is amazing. My wife and I stayed two nights in the Cherokee cabin for our anniversary and we both loved it. Management was so personable and accommodating. Beautiful and well maintained property. Don’t think you can beat it for the price.

The most charming and elegant gem in the mountains. The cabin felt like a second home, beautifully decorated and it didn't feel like it wasn't ours, it felt like we had to take care of it as though it was our own. Alex, the Inn Keeper, must be the world expert on the property, which has been there since 1885. He is not just the owner, or the Inn Keeper, he is a steward of the land, and the caretaker of its history and legacy. Joe, a man of many talents, from maintenance, guess relations, tending to the chickens, to cooking the most mouth watering breakfast you've ever had, is truly one of the best humans I've ever met. From the stay, the food, the views, and the stories around the campfire. Engadine is a treasure.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historical home. The staff were friendly with the perfect balance of being accessible without being intrusive. The star of breakfast was a delicious homemade quiche. An assortment of standard breakfast fare was also available.

It was a memorable stay if it had not been for these glitches: - I never received my codes to the room had to call to get them -The property is located in a bad location; road shared with junkyards, scary! -The inside of the property is so special but the outside needs maintenance: Painting, garden… - There was no AC in the room, only a ventilator that made noice and didn’t help much. I got hot in the middle of the nigjt. - the only mirror in the room was next to the bathroom and the light didn’t work, the room was dark at 7:00 am so I couldn’t wear my makeup

Nice property, staff was nice and attentive when we first arrived, but didn’t see them much during our stay. Would have liked to have had the coffee bar refreshed and more water bottles available. The free alcohol and cigars was a nice added touch.

Smokey Mountain Cabin

We stayed in the Smokey Mountain cabin and it was excellent. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful view of the mountains and the stars at night were amazing. Dogs loved it as well! Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed here on Sunday evening and had the whole house to ourselves. There were interesting things to explore both inside the house and on the surrounding property. The owners are doing a masterful job of restoring this historically significant place. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. We were given a personal tour of the property and saw all that was being done to make this a venue for special events and getaways. We look forward to returning in the future to see how the newly planted fruit trees are doing and perhaps the restoration of a former vineyard will be underway! This friendly Inn is certainly worth a visit.
