I was able to check in early. Everything was clean-- the room, pool, laundry room, spa, fitness center, the property, the dining area, etc. Breakfast was great. Its free and they have a waffle maker. I went to every one while there. They have a wide variety of food. There are many different tables and seats to accommodate everyone. The hotel is dog friendly, but they weren't running all over the place. The spa was a wonderful temperature and there are towels stocked in the pool area as well as the fitness area. All of the staff is nice and friendly, going the extra. The laundry is not expensive. I washed two loads for less than $10. That includes the detergent that was sold on site. The heat works wonderfully in the room, which was needed during the rainstorm last week. Anything that you need extra, the staff has no problem accommodating you. Receiving packages there is a breeze. There is a room up front. Parking is FREE! The beds are comfortable. The room was clean, and I always carry Lysol spray everywhere. I didn't have to bomb the place. I was able to choose the floor that I wanted to stay on. There are three floors and thankfully, the elevator is not slow. Big bonus: the place was quiet. That's saying a lot, especially since I had my baby with me crying some nights. It was a relief that my family was able to have the kitchen so that we could cook and store our meals. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

All was good except upon arrival we were told there were no more rooms available like we had reserved and were told we'd be given a handicapped room. It was ok except the bed seemed basically like a mattress on the floor, but it was comfortable enough so that wasn't a big deal.

Worst stay I've had
To begin with, only one elevator was working... it took 5 minutes to get up or down. There was no hot water, they said they didnt know when it would be fixed. The wall thermostat wasnt working, it was freezing in the room... probably wont stay in that Springhill again.

Hello Norman R.,I am sorry to hear that you had a less than pleasant experience; however, I do not think this review is for us. You stated that only one of the elevators was working. We only have one elevator so if there were more than one at the property you are referring to, it was not us. Additionally, you mention having hot water issues. We have not had any reports of hot water issues on our property. Had you mentioned this issue and/or the thermostat issue, we would have happily addressed them for you if you were staying with us. Lastly, you state you will not stay at this Springhill again. We are not a Springhill. We are a Residence Inn. Again, I do apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations, but I am not sure you stayed with us. If you did stay with us I wish you had let us know about the issues so that we could have addressed them for you.

Nice hotel, good location
This hotel looks like someone’s mansion and they’ve invited you to stay. You learn who should and shouldn’t be invited to stay in your home by the way they treat their accommodations and the host. Each room is like a fully functional apartment and I loved it! My 3 little pups and I stayed here 5-19 November 2023 and had the most wonderful stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We were close enough to the elevator and the stairs to make potty breaks very quick & easy. The entrances to the hotel can be a bit tricky with bags and pups in tow, but the hotel staff did help when and where they could. Only one elevator and only one level entrance to roll things in, so if you aren’t lucky enough to get parking close to that entrance, you’re likely going to break a sweat, no matter how cool it is outside. The pet walk/relief areas were VERY dark at sunset. I did suggest to the hotel staff to install at least some ground level lights at the base of the building that aim away from the room windows at that level to provide more light. My little flashlight wasn’t enough to feel comfortable in the darkness, especially knowing there are black bears out there. I must say too, it is absolutely infuriating that some pet owners feel like they don’t need to clean up after their pets. They ruin it for everyone else. I stepped in 💩 twice!! The leaves on ground were fairly thick because of the season, so it was hard to…

I travel to Asheville on a monthly basis. A few months ago I found this hidden gem. The hotel was renovated and the facility is pleasant clean and clean. The whole staff is amazing; friendly and helpful. My new place away from home.

Good hotel in a great location for accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as routes elsewhere and the city itself. Nice room , quiet, easy parking. Great to have a kitchen when staying for a week. Only things I would change are a bigger tub and a better set of pans in the kitchen.
