  • WELCOME TO LAKE LURE!! Our Happy Place is located inside the gates of Rumbling Bald Resort. It's the perfect place for a family vacation or golf groups. Enjoy the direct views of Bald Mountain and watch the golfers as they play along the 3rd fairway of the Bald Mountain Golf Course. Sip your coffee or cocktail on the front porch while enjoying your sunrise and sunset. The condo is newly renovated and decorated. You will have access to the resort amenities - which includes indoor/outdoor pools and lazy river, walking distance to a private beach, restaurants, fitness center and spa, tennis and basketball courts, mini-golf, hiking trails, and MUCH MORE!

    The main level bedroom has 2 queen beds and a full bath (shower only) with double vanity sinks. The bedroom opens to the front porch. The upstairs bedroom includes 2 full beds and 2 twin beds on a platform. A full bathroom is directly outside of the bedroom. The bedroom opens to a private balcony that seats 2. It overlooks a fully furnished patio off the kitchen below.

    Our Happy Place is a 15 min drive to the nearest grocery (Ingles). It is conveniently located 45-60 min to Asheville and Hendersonville and a short 25 min drive to Chimney Rock and Rutherfordton. It is also a 30 min drive to the FEI World Equestrian center in Tryon, NC. Enjoy hiking trails along your way and wonderful shops in the small cities of Western North Carolina.

    The unit has wi-fi and roku (includes netflix, youtube tv - personal info must be entered for YouTube)


    IMPORTANT:

    *25+ of age to rent
    *2 day min 3-day min at holidays
    Check in - 4:00 Check Out - 10 am
    *No smoking
    *No pets
    *No motorcycles (resort rules) - can leave motorcycle at security gate parking lot. .7 miles from security gate to condo
    *Fishing allowed at Bald Mountain Lake
    *Fishing license REQUIRED on Lake Lure.
    * You WILL receive passes to the resort amenities. Additional costs for mini-golf, boat and kayak rentals, golf at Apple Valley Course and Bald Mountain Course, special events and cookouts.

    IMPORTANT for ALL BOOKINGS
    All individuals 12+ must have a guest pass for Rumbling Bald amenities. Pool, cabana rentals, wellness center access.

    **In the event a guest pass is not returned or lost a $50 replacement fee will be added**

    Refuse Service - open daily 6:30am - 7:00pm. Located near boat ramp closest to security gate.

We had a great time. The only thing I wished I would have done was rent a golf cart but due to weddings going on none were available. It would have made get around alot easier.overall this was one of the Best places we have stayed. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cute townhome

Cute and comfy townhome on the golf course. Had everything we needed. Because the lake is closed we were thankful for the pools, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts.

Quick trip

Stayed two nights, but got there late on first night! Very comfortable beds!Enjoyed our time at the pool and had a great breakfast near the resort. Checkout directions are different on VRBO than actual instructions! All in all a great stay!

Peace and quite time

It was a beautiful place to visit far from busy life. The property was clean and maintained. Our town home location was great and can enjoy the green glof field and mountain from the deck with a cup of tea. It was enough spacious. We all enjoyed the stay. Thanks !

Just a weekend getaway. The weather was not great but we enjoyed our time just catching up and sitting outside. I would have liked to been able to check in a bit earlier and the check out a little later than 10am.So basically we had one full day to enjoy from Friday-Sunday. Very clean and accommodating. Would recommend.

Relaxing and Comfortable

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this Lake Lure property! The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There are two nice patio areas to sit outside and enjoy the breeze or the view of the golf course. The Rumbling Bald resort was beautiful and had lots of fun things for us to do together as a family. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in Lake Lure! The condo was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. We were in Lake Lure for a wedding at Rumbling Bald, so we were very close to all the events. A Fun Weekend!

My youngest grand daughter wanted to spend her birthday at Lake Lure with family. We had a great time. The condo is very accommodating for families with kids. It is well furnished, clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities--lake, pool, lazy river--a fun time for all!

Another great trip

We stayed at this property last year and came back again this summer. The condo was clean and comfortable. The host is wonderful! She worked with us when we had to reschedule our stay due to an illness, and she was accessible and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Excellent condo in a beautiful environment

The condo was beautiful, if we ever remodeled a condo, we would take inspiration from every design choice. Everything was perfect. The golf course view and the entire resort amenities make this a great place to visit. We will be back and will stay in this unit for sure.

This condo is a gem. It is beautifully updated, very clean, and well stocked. The location is great and there are multiple amenities available. We didn't have time to check them out on our short stay, but are definitely planning on staying here again. Check in and Check out were easy, as well.
