Cottage was very clean. Really enjoyed opening the window and spending a slow morning watching the sunrise over Lake Superior after a night around the fire pit. Every thing needed was supplied in the cottage, plus ice cream! Appreciate the single night layover on our way to the Apostle Islands, definitely understand why two of our fellow guests were regulars there

Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.

The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.

My wife and I are really impressed with this place. We’ve stayed at a lot of cabins around the state and this one is by far the best one. The cabin has on floor heating which is a huge plus for us.

We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.

A great northwoods WI cabin with location being an added bonus. Chequamegon bay is accessible from your doorstep and a short drive will take you to Ashland, Washburn or Bayfield. The cabin was clean, well stocked and beds were comfortable. Great communication with host who also provided excellent information for the area. This served as an excellent basecamp for a ice fishing trip on the bay, sleeping three guys comfortably and I look forward to a return visit with my wife to explore the are communities. Sidenote, signage on HWY 13 also makes the entrance to this location very easy to find.

Nice small family resort. Cottage had plenty of space. It was well supplied and everything worked. Local ice cream was a nice touch. Good location and nice views. Just don’t expect many amenities or a refined, modern experience.

Such a cute little cabin, everything was very clean and we had more than we needed for our stay. Owners were very easy to communicate with and so helpful, beds were very comfortable and internet was very fast. The water at the private beach is so clear as well. I will definitely be back in the future

Excellent get a way. Exceptionally clean. Quiet treed area with private fire pit. Small beach beautiful sunsets. Ice cream treat in the freezer for us.
