Beautiful views of Lake Superior in this homey lakeside hotel that's a bit of a throwback. Staff gave a free upgrade to a better room for one person in our party so he could see the lake.

I think this is a phenomenal Hotel. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the coffee. I wasn't expecting Starbucks but it was the most disgusting coffee you could ever put in your mouth. I tried it two days in a row and ended up getting coffee elsewhere. Aside from that it is a wonderful place today!
