「This property is in Woolacombe, it’s a basic chalet style bungalow with a double bedroom and a sofa / sofa bed. It’s very quiet and peaceful, I went along with the dog and met up with friends staying nearby. The accommodation is well kitted out. The host was very quick to respond to messages and contacted me so I could get in early..it was a very rainy, cold June day so that was most welcome. 「We zijn heel erg tevreden over alles, het was een mooie omgeving, rustig en stil. Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien, afwasmachine, wasmachine, oven/magnetron enz enz We hebben bijna elke dag wel een opstapje gemaakt. Maximaal een uur rijden en dan heb je veel gezien. Het fijne van deze locatie is dat je centraal zit. Kortom we hebben een geweldige, fijne en vooral ontspannende vakantie gehad.」

「Beautiful location in Appledore. View over the estuary to the Atlantic ever changing and soothing as the tides ebbed and flowed. Second time to this magical little town..and will be coming again for sure. 「Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. 「Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome.」

「We met the owner upon arrive and where made to feel very welcome. The beautiful grounds, house and location was perfect. The family rooms were huge and perfect for little ones. The hot tub and games room was well equipped along with the kitchen. We bumped into the owners family down by the river and were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Thank you」

Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. 「Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream...
