Summary:
The Cortland Cottage at Brant's Apple Orchard - Relax and enjoy 80 acres of orchard, hiking trails, playground, and fishing pond at the top fall destination in NE Ohio. Two bedrooms each with its own en-suite bath plus an additional half bath, full kitchen, wine bar, and massive deck and party patio. Centrally located on Ashtabula County's covered bridge tour, 20 minutes from area wineries and Geneva on the Lake, and 10 minutes from the bustling Ashtabula Harbor.

Our stay at the Cortland Cottage was fantastic! The cottage is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The back deck was absolutely amazing! This may seem minor, but one thing that added to the already coziness of the cottage was plenty of snuggly throw blankets. They were clean and ridiculously soft. I’ll also note that communication with the host was excellent.

Room for improvement

Very attractive home and property. Wifi thermostat was at 55 when we arrived in the afternoon and it took hours for the house to warm up. No shower soap or shampoo was provided. Beds were very comfortable but the proximity of I-90 made for some noise. Kitchen was very well stocked.

Beautiful Place

The location of the house was great! We loved the layout of the house and the patio outside. I gave the accuracy of the listing only four stars because it lists as a three bedroom but it’s really a two bedroom with a pull out sofa. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Cortland Cottage

Our trip here was a last minute reservation, and I have to say that we were all very happy that we made this choice! The house was absolutely beautiful! Extremely clean, and there was everything that we could have wanted! Beautiful deck, grill, and fire pit! Brants apple orchard was right there, they had things going on from goodies to buy, lunch and just an overall fun experience! We bought lots of apple goods from their store!! I would highly recommend this place for anyone to stay! We will definitely be booking this place again! Brian was a very nice person to deal with!! We thank you very much for your hospitality!!

Beautiful property

It was a nice, quiet stay. We enjoyed the patio where we used the gas grill to have some chicken. Everything was clean and Brian provided lots of details about the property and the beaches that we asked him about. We wander around, going through the vineyard and a bit through the apple orchard. We also peeked through the windows of the market that is on the property and saw a couple very old but very beautiful stoves, which I believe they are still in use. Outside of the market there are also a bunch of old barrels and other things that were used in old times on the orchard; beautiful antiques!

Clean, comfortable, spacious

Beautiful patio and deck. Very clean and comfortable. 2.5 baths were very convenient for two couples. Doesn’t have any toiletries/coffee so make sure to bring some shampoo/soap and coffee/tea with you.

Nice Experience

The cabin was nicely appointed, extremely clean and a good kitchen. It has a deck and patio that looks over the apple market and pond. It was fun to watch the families enjoy the market, lunch spots and land.

Beauty on an orchard

The house is beautiful and well kept. Nicely renovated with an awesome patio and deck area. There is a separate rental next door with some shared space but we had no issues with the other renters. Definitely a great space to rent for our weekend getaway!

Paradise on an apple orchard.

I’ve always loved visiting the orchard, and actually staying on the property was good for my soul. We walked through the orchards, relaxed on the deck and had a bonfire by the pond. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.
