Charlies Farm Cottage - sunny central spot for fishing, swimming, exploring.

Charlie's Farm Cottage is a comfortable three bedroom holiday house located 40 km north of Greymouth. It is well equipped with all you need to spend a great time away in a home away from home. Centrally located, the cottage is a great base to explore the Coast or a place to meet family and friends to enjoy the river swimming and fishing. You can walk to the Pike River Memorial or drive to Historic Blackball. Mountain bike the tracks at Lake Brunner or tramp the Croesus and Moonlight tracks or try you luck at gold panning in the Moonlight creek.
The cottage is located on a farm run off block, so depending on the time of the year the view from the cottage deck can be animals grazing or contractors making silage or tractors working ground to establish crops. The cottage boasts amazing views of the Paparoa Ranges.
The cottage is family friendly with the section completely fenced and a gate across the driveway. There is plenty of toys, games and books along with DVD's to entertain the children on a wet day. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and cater for 10 people including plastic cups and plates for the kids. A BBQ is available to use and there is an outdoor table setting for dining outside.
There is a cot and high chair for little people and the single fold up bed can be set in any of the three rooms. The beds do not have electric blankets but the fire makes the cottage warm and cozy and there are oil column heaters to use in the bedrooms. There are plenty of spare blankets to use on all the beds or to snuggle up on the couch. There is lots of wood to keep the fire going but please note the fire does not have a guard. The hot water is on gas so lots of hot water for a soak in the bath.
