This is a lovely townhouse close to all of the major sites, with an incredible rooftop patio!!!
Two things to be aware of:
1. There was major construction going on directly across the street. We woke to jackhammers at 7am our first morning. When asked, the property management company said construction can take place from 7a-3p and 5:30p-11p. This is the local ordinance and the company cannot control it. It appears to be a big job that will be ongoing.
2. The property management company is difficult to deal with. We booked our stay at the Acropolis heights property before it was rated, and about a week before check in we saw a negative review. The review noted the AC on the second floor was out, and the property management company was difficult to deal with.
I emailed the property management company right away to make sure the AC had been fixed and they assured me it had. I asked the person who checked us in if it had been fixed. His response was maintenance had been performed (even though he had not yet opened the upstairs), and the people who rented before us were, “difficult and just wanted money back on their rental.”
We quickly realized all of the AC units were working except one in an upstairs bedroom. I emailed the company multiple times and they kept telling me annual maintenance had just been performed so I must be mistaken the unit was not working. We had the door shut, window shutter, window and curtains closed, lights off and AC on turbo for several hours and the room was hotter than the hallway. The company made it seem as though we were lying to try to get a refund, when in fact we were just relaying information and asking for it to be fixed.
The property is amazing, but beware when dealing with JJ Hospitality.
