10/10
It's a low-cost but very comfortable hotel.
--I got a fine deal but apparently it's available for as low as 70USD at times, which would be a steal.
--No reception desk but daily cleaning service and they replace your water and tea.
--Not in a tourist area so there is a nice selection of authentic restaurants and cafes nearby.
--Very quiet despite being on a major street and close to a hospital. Apparently the rooms are soundproofed.
--Due to the blackout curtains, soundproofing, and comfortable bed, I slept like a baby for 14+ hrs on the first day after travel. That is the highlight of this place for me.
--The air conditioner works really well. (You have to pay a daily tourist fee in summer season because of this, but that's with every hotel)
--The wifi and hot water were convenient. I don't remember seeing a fridge.
--About 10 min walk from the Evangelismus station.
--The virtual check in is anxiety provoking. If you have access to phone or internet service, it's no problem; but for those coming from abroad, the property should consider giving the wifi code ahead of time so that people who arrive in front of the property can use the property's network to communicate.
--The virtual receptionist communicates well in English. They were able to get me a late night cab when I needed it.
I would go back there and recommend it to others.
