We were expecting a bigger and nicer around the property. The hotel is tucked in between to little stores and next to the trash. The area is sketchy but just a couple blocks up the street is super busy area at nights.

Honestly very happy with the accommodation. We booked a private room for a reasonable rate and it was pretty spacious and clean, comparable to a hotel room. The hostel was also very close to the tourist attractions.

Our stay at Athens Hawk was simply wonderful. As seniors who had never stayed in a hostel before, we were a bit skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was available for 5.00 euros per person. The roof top bar was awesome with fantastic views of the city and Acropolis. Everywhere was within walking distance or transit. We had an amazing time
