The hotel is conveniently located near everything: the metro, the Acropolis, shopping areas, and restaurants. The neighbourhood has a slightly bohemian vibe, which we enjoyed.
One tip for those taking a taxi: do not board a taxi unless the driver tells you the fare upfront. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and were charged double the expected fare. The driver became aggressive during the ride, claiming, "I don't speak English, only Greek." It seemed like he was trying to exploit the language barrier to scam us.
He also took us through less desirable areas on the way to the hotel, which was unsettling, especially since we were travelling with two women. It's essential to prioritize your safety and not confront such individuals, as you could end up risking both your safety and your money.
Always use an app like Uber to book your rides to avoid unpleasant surprises. Believe me!
