This hotel exceeded expectations. In keeping with the history of the building they provided an enjoyable atmosphere. The front desk receptionist was wonderful and so informative. And the breakfast was delightful in taste and presentation. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Athens and hope to visit again soon

Intimate boutique hotel in a wonderful location. A short walk to eateries and bars. Nikoleta and team are very helpful and gave some wonderful recommendations. Great spot for couples.

I just loved Moon & Stars. It is so conveniently located to all the main tourist sites but also in a really great neighborhood with lots of food and shopping options. Staff was lovely, loved our room, Birds of Paradise, and the roof top communal area. Will gladly stay here the next time I'm back in Athens.

A lovely and fresh hotel. Perfect in every way. Close to everything, yet still a bit away so you’re not disturbed by noise. Will be back.

The location of this small boutique hotel is perfect. Walking distance to just about everything from Parliament, to the National Garden to the Acropolis. Our room was on the small side, but it had everything we needed. There are stairs to our room and to the rooftop (a beautiful view from here) so be prepared for stairs. There was no TV in our room which we loved as we are on holiday, and not clamouring to watch TV. The service was fantastic which made our stay even better.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I absolutely adored it! The care that goes into every detail was very much appreciated. Also, the staff were very helpful, friendly and the hotel is in the best possible location. Very easy to see everything you need to see in Athens and you can see the Parthenon lit up at night from the rooftop terrace. Would highly recommend and wish we had a longer stay there! Thanks Moon and Stars!

Absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the “music box” room. It felt like a luxurious old apartment that was comfortable, cozy, and with modern amenities at the same time. The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable. Lovely breakfast served on the upstairs rooftop terrace boasted views of the acropolis which, as many other historical sights, was only a short was away. The streets outside were bustling with restaurants, bars, and cafes yet inside it was quiet and secluded. 2 subway stations were in very close proximity making access to the hotel from the airport easy, cheap, and convenient. We have stayed in many expensive, 5-star luxury hotels around the world but I can confidently say that this small boutique accommodation easily has a place amongst my top 5 anywhere. When returning to Athens, it will be my first choice.

Mysigt hotell med fantastiskt läge

Supermysigt litet hotell med bra läge vid metron och i område med massor av restauranger och barer. Gångavstånd till det mesta i stan. Frukosten, som man beställer kvällen innan, levereras till rummet eller terrassen och är superbra! Kommer definitivt boka igen nästa gång vi är i Aten.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Top Frühstück in origineller Aufmachung (like a Picknick). Coole Dachterrasse mit Blick die Akropolis. Hotel sehr zentral gelegen, viele Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Einziger Minuspunkt, sehr laut in der Nacht, man hört den Straßenlärm doch sehr (Zimmer Jack in Box)

Perfect Boutique Hotel in Athens

We stayed in the stunning Music Box suite for 4 nights. From our very late arrival (1am) throughout our entire stay, the owners and staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The room was huge! Decor is modern and exactly to our taste (like a showroom!). An added surprise was the rooftop terrace, which was a perfect setting for breakfast or an evening drink. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come back :)

I cannot say enough about this beautiful gem of a boutique hotel or about its gracious and conscientious proprietor, Theodore, and his staff. The super clean and tastefully appointed suites create an immediate ambience, accentuated by a gentle jazz playlist greeting every guest upon arrival. In addition to its location, within the immediate vicinity of several trendy Athens bars and eateries, and only a short walk from the famous Monastiraki Square, Plaka district and tourist sites, the Moon and Stars Boutique Hotel skillfully captures the modern spirit of this ancient city. The hotel’s real beauty, however, lies in its meticulous attention to the details of the guest experience. From the carefully curated breakfast selections (delivered each morning to your suite) to the reasonably priced and well-stocked mini bar, there is no amenity left to chance. The rooftop terrace provides a panoramic view of the city and the Acropolis, and a nice place to relax at the end of a long day. The staff go to great lengths in creating a memorable, hassle-free stay, including the arrangement of transfers to and from the airport and port and recommendations for local dining and tours. The true beauty in any travel experience lies in the details, and this place absolutely checks every box.

Boutique perfection

Moon & Stars is a gorgeous little boutique hotel in a very strategic location in Psirri. The ladies working at the hotel are some of the loveliest people I’ve met in Athens. I stayed in Cloud 9, the small room on the rooftop with a direct access to the shared terrace looking at Acropolis and Temple of Hephaestus. The hotel is brand new and every corner of is is prettyyyyyyy. The room is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, also very well equipped with everything to make an enjoyable stay. I had a great short stay and would consider coming back again. The only down side is that the room is not sound-proofed so it lets all the street noises in, but you can use the earplugs provided in the room. The terrace view alone can make up for that only minus point about the room.
