Honestly loved this hotel. It’s very well thought out and feels like a true boutique hotel experience. Location, room, staff, and the taverna are all 10/10. I would love to stay here again.
What a great place. Super nice staff. Great location and they succeeded in creating a very refined yet relaxed atmosphere. The room was small but elegant and had everything we needed and then some. I would love to come back.
Ergon House Ermou was the perfect home base for our stay in Athens. We were in one of their larger rooms, and the whole hotel felt charming and calm while still being spotlessly clean. The design and branding are so thoughtfully curated, from the gorgeous paint colors and doors to the dishes, linens, and monogrammed napkins. We commented several times on how tranquil and elevated everything felt.
The room was comfortable in every way: a great bed, excellent water pressure, and all the little amenities we needed to feel cared for. Even though our room was next to the outdoor dining area, it stayed surprisingly quiet in the mornings and evenings, and dark enough to sleep well. After moving around a lot during our trip, it was such a welcome respite.
The included breakfast was a highlight, with a full menu of anything you could want. The omelet, yogurt and granola, teas, and coffee were all delicious. In the evenings, we loved heading up to the rooftop for a drink and a peaceful view of the Acropolis. Most nights we had it to ourselves, and it was amazing how quiet it felt in the middle of the city.
The staff was wonderful throughout. Restaurant staff greeted us as we passed through, the front desk is there 24/7, and when I left very early on my last morning, a team member came out to make sure I had everything I needed. Truly elevated hospitality. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
