The hostess is wonderful. The room was amazing. Beautiful decoration,unbelievable set up. Lots of room to you, the baggage. There are amazing closets. Every detail was done with elegance. Nice big room in the middle of Athens, many testaurants and bars, but nevertheless quiet in the room - the only thing was the check-in, if I was alone, I could not have opened the door of the room - not good at all! My husband and I kicked off our honeymoon with a couple nights at the Mariet and were so pleasantly surprised at how much we loved this place! The room was really clean and nicely decorated. We got a tour of our room and were explained all the features such as how to use the alarm/security system, the safe, the shower (which was the best part - has a steam function, LED lights and a sound system) and the coffee machine. The free coffee was amazing and we were gifted a small bottle of Champaign which was so nice! We felt really safe and the room had blackout shutters and was extremely quiet so we slept amazingly. The location was also perfect, just 2 minutes from the metro station and within 10-15 minute walk to most of the main sites!
