“When I arrived the door wouldn’t open so I contacted the host and he said that I had canceled the stay which was completely false. He told me that he refunded me and that there was no vacancy for the apartment. If I had canceled the day of my arrival he would have never refunded me my money so it was him who canceled, probably double booked for more money. I had to find a new place and didn’t get there until after 9pm. Wasted the whole afternoon. ”

However, the apartment itself is quite outdated and would benefit from renovation. The furniture feels old, and the space lacks comfort and thoughtful details. “Where do I even begin?! The location is everything. There are panaderías, restaurants, food stands, bars, and shops literally next door and throughout the Roma Norte neighborhood.From the moment you enter the complex, you’re greeted by incredibly kind 24/7 security guards—I never once felt unsafe. “Great location! We walked everywhere. Great restaurants, parks, a local food hall and cafes close by were all in a 5 mins walk. There was a grocery store a few blocks down and it had everything-- fresh bread, snacks, and drinks. Very clean unit and comfortable beds-- there were 6 of us so we all had a bed to sleep on.Our flight was delayed and we arrived at 1am, so we appreciated that there was a security guard to let us in. Our host also recommended transportation since we were arriving……

If you are booking for the advertised private outdoor space, be aware that while it is “private” (sole use), it is situated in the middle of the building, surrounded by other apartments on all sides, and as it is a low floor, there is no privacy and pretty much no sunlight so too cool and exposed to actually enjoy.
