Beautiful 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths on sound and walking distance to beach and shops


Just read the reviews for this beautiful five bedroom, five and one-half baths with expansive sound views. Our goal is to make this vacation one to remember and the reviews reflect it!
The 4th floor has a bonus room as well as king bedroom and bath. The views are incredible! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths and some have views of the sound. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! The king bedroom offers sounds views and a large bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage with a Nema 14-50 for charging electric vehicles. There is also an elevator.
There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but you also have great options to get outside and enjoy everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. The boardwalk (approximately one-third mile and right next to our home) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while enjoying the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, restaurants, bars and grocery store. We are accommodating and try to respond quickly if you have any questions.

Absolutely Stunning!! Beautiful home with well stocked kitchen, spacious living and out door areas, including lovely screened porch with gorgeous view to enjoy!! We stayed here for a week with 10 people - 6 adults and four kids 4 and under. It was a spacious and clean home in a great location. We walked on the boardwalk to the small private island, drove 5 minutes to Memorial Beach, and checked out lots of other nearby places - Beaumont, the aquarium, Fort Macon. Perfect spot for a family trip.

We loved our stay at Kaye’s house. The place was spacious and in a great location - the neighborhood was quiet and serene and the house has easy access to the sound with beautiful views. Most rooms had an on-suite bathroom which was great. The kitchen had enough of what we needed (plates, utensils, cups, etc). The bathrooms could have been stocked a little bit better (no soap in all of the bathrooms, no shower amenities). But this was very minor. We would definitely stay here again!

Home is beautiful but definitely outdated. Bedrooms should have TV's, house did not have a mop or bucket which i bought and left for future visitors. Beware for those of color( Black or Hispanic), neighbors very racist. After asking " neighbors " in community if their Pool Fobs were deactivated for pool access, they advised it was not. Lost 3 days of pool access. Wont even comment on 2 occasions of harassment at pool, on my way back home, my wife and i noticed what we thought were mosquitos bite, turns out it was bed bugs.

We loved our stay at this property! The owner was very good at providing local recommendations and had a printed document at the house as well. She contacted us after we got settled in the make sure everything was good which was a nice touch! The views from the back porch were incredible at sunset! We look forward to staying at her home again.

Beautiful , spacious house in a lovely neighborhood. It is located Right next to the private walkway onto a small island owned by the neighborhood.We enjoyed the close proximity to the food lion and several great restaurants like Monkey bar and Table 9. The neighborhood pool was enjoyable as well.

Mom’s birthday getaway

We had such a fantastic time at this house. The view was gorgeous, the house was well appointed, everything we could possibly need. Loved the kitchen, the flow of the home, and everything about it actually. Sitting on the back screened in porch was one of our favorite morning and evening activities. Daughter's wedding weekend

This was the perfect location for my familt yo stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Perfectly situated for all activities from rehearsal dinner in Morehead City to the wedding and reception at the aquarium. It was perfect. The house is AMAZING!!! The pictures don't do it enough justice, because it's so much larger in person!! From the amenities to the beautiful decor throughout this house is really spectacular!!

Fabulous home

Our family spent the Christmas week in this beautiful home. It had everything we could need and more. Very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. While the cold weather prevented us from truly enjoying the lovely porch, we hope to return when we can bask in the beauty of the sound side views as we drink our morning coffee. Definitely a great vacation home!

Over all great place

Kitchen was good, I was able to cook a complete thanksgiving dinner (I did bring a roaster). I missed a few things but I would certainly call the kitchen well equipped. We had a lot of trouble regulating the temperature in the house but that was the only problem we had. There was plenty of common space and bedrooms. The elevator was great, there are a lot of steep stairs. The sound is beautiful and there is a lot to do in Atlantic Beach.

Wonderful home in an ideal location

Our group included a number of elderly folks (5 of our 8 were 65 and above). The elevator was wonderful for getting our luggage and groceries up from the garage AND it was appreciated for the ones over 80 that had trouble taking the stairs. HUGE amenity to have in the house! We LOVED the location and how convenient it was for shopping AND walking to the water on sound side. And it close to get across to ocean side of the island as well. Great communication and tips from the host before our stay, as well as being available when a couple things came up during our stay. We will stay here again if we have opportunity!
