Fully equipped kitchen, ensuite to master, and a spacious open-plan layout with city views from every angle. The Sky Tower, SkyCity, Aotea Square, The Civic, and the Viaduct are all minutes on foot. Auckland`s CBD at its most elevated.

    There is something genuinely special about waking up on the top floor with the Sky Tower filling your bedroom window — and this penthouse apartment on the uppermost residential level of the Ramada building on Victoria Street West delivers exactly that. With sweeping city views from the living area, both bedrooms, and a generous covered outdoor deck, this is a space that puts Auckland on display from the moment you open your eyes to the moment you close them.

    The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area is spacious and well laid out — a comfortable lounge setting, a fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances, and a dining area that seats four, all flowing naturally through to the covered deck beyond. The deck is a real highlight: sheltered enough to use year-round, large enough to relax properly, and positioned to take in the city skyline, the Sky Tower, and the animated rooftop energy of central Auckland below.

    Both bedrooms are positioned either side of the living area, each opening directly onto the deck — a layout that is both practical and genuinely enjoyable, with the outdoor space acting as a natural hub between the two bedroom wings. The master bedroom is served by its own private ensuite, while the second bedroom shares a well-appointed main bathroom which also houses the in-unit laundry. Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished with quality linen and ample storage.

    Victoria Street West sits at the very centre of Auckland`s CBD, and the penthouse`s elevated position makes the city feel like it has been laid out for your benefit. The Sky Tower — New Zealand`s most recognisable landmark — is a 350-metre walk from the building`s front door. SkyCity`s entertainment complex, casino, and convention centre are equally close, as is The Civic Theatre, one of the most architecturally beautiful cinemas and performance venues in the Southern Hemisphere. Aotea Square and the Aotea Centre performing arts complex are a short stroll, as are the Auckland Town Hall and Q Theatre for those visiting for performances or events.

    Queen Street — Auckland`s main retail and dining spine — is moments away, connecting down to Commercial Bay`s flagship waterfront precinct and the Viaduct Harbour`s celebrated restaurant and bar strip. Albert Park`s beautiful Victorian gardens and the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki are both within comfortable walking distance uphill, and Karangahape Road`s creative dining and bar scene is a short walk in the other direction. The Wellesley Street and Hobson Street bus stop is within 300 metres, connecting to frequent Inner Link and Outer Link services across the city.

    For guests arriving for business, the SkyCity Auckland Convention Centre is practically next door — making this one of the most convenient and comfortable bases available for conference and event attendees. Britomart Transport Centre and the Auckland Ferry Terminal are a 15-minute walk, providing connections to the full train network and ferry services to Waiheke Island and beyond.

    Auckland is easily explored from here. The Wellesley Street and Hobson Street bus stops are within 300 metres with frequent Inner Link and Outer Link services connecting to Ponsonby, Parnell, Newmarket, and the waterfront throughout the day. Britomart Transport Centre is a 15-minute walk for train connections across the city. Uber and taxis are available throughout the CBD at all hours. A free secure car park is included with the apartment — the motorway network is close by for day trips to the Coromandel, Northland, or anywhere further afield. Auckland Airport is approximately 30 to 40 minutes by car, with shuttle and rideshare options available at all hours.

    The covered deck flows directly from the living area and both bedrooms, making it a natural extension of the living space rather than an afterthought. It is sheltered from Auckland`s prevailing winds and usable in most weather conditions throughout the year.

    Please note: this apartment is a private residential property located within the Ramada building — it is not part of the Ramada Hotel operation and the hotel`s front desk is unable to assist with your stay. All check-in instructions and support are provided directly by us, and we are available throughout your stay.
    We kindly ask all guests to help us maintain the peaceful, high-standard environment of this home by following a few simple rules:

    A valid photo ID, email address, and phone number are required prior to check-in.

    Please respect our no-party policy and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

    Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the suite or anywhere in the apartment, building, complex or balcony.

    In the rare case of a noise complaint or evidence of smoking, an additional fee of up to NZD $500 may apply.

    Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
