Perfect little place

Centrally located - close to supermarket and Buses and beach just down the hill. So easy to get around from hereVery quiet, apart from bird song.

The bach was so cute! Very neat and tidy and had everything we needed. My Mum who was a kid in the 70s loved all of the retro furnishings and decor, such a neat place to stay! Thanks very much for having us, we hope to visit again in the future

Brilliant place and lovely people

We can’t think of a single way this bach could have been better. We loved it. Very comfortable and well provisioned and close to market, shops, water and bus. And lovely generous hosts. Perfect!

Tranquility plus

Away from the business of Waiheke at the peak season yet only a 10 minute walk to Ostend village and the bus to the beaches, this place was perfect for myself and my mum. Jackie and Jan were lovely hosts offering us homemade bread and the beans growing that they had in abundance. Beds fabulously comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Cute little getaway. Perfect for a few days. Real minor grumbles - theres lots of mozzies (bring mortien and lavender oil), the kettle switch is temperamental and there's no oven. Apart from that we had a great stay.

So cute

Beautiful styling of this retro bach! Comfortable and very clean. Not in the most scenic part of Waiheke, but if you don't have a car, only a 10-15 minute walk to bus and supermarket and cafes. Good value.

Peaceful retreat

Easy to access, yet off the main road so it was peaceful. It gave us a peaceful rest - just what we needed. Really appreciate the commitment to the environment. Loved the birds. And very quick responses to any questions or needs we had. Thanks very much for hosting us

Waiheke island weekend

Ideal place to stay for our weekend. Everything we needed Walking distance to Ostend : Saturday farmers market, supermarket, buses (Good bus service on the island) Highlights freshly baked sourdough Saturday morning. Definitely order if you can.
