Sofitel Aukland Viaduct is in a great location for experiencing the harbor life of Aukland. The staff is awesome, especially in the welcome lounge, which is quite a different experience than a typical standing desk. The room was cleaned regularly including more than expected and the supplies of coffee and tea was superb.

The room was immaculate and nicely arranged. I loved the bathrobe… wish I could have bought one to take home! There was a nice assortment of teas and coffees. The bed was so comfortable with soft luxurious bedding .

Thought the Hotel was very nice. The customer service and concierge were outstanding. I did not use the pool. Thought the breakfast was lacking. It’s a buffet but has no eggs prepared. You have to order eggs as part of a more expensive breakfast. The problem comes when you’re in a hurry to catch an early tour or transport and you don’t have time for à la carte.

The AC and TV were not working. Was moved to new where AC worked too good. AC didn’t have a thermostat so no way to set a temperature. The room was spacious and clean and quiet so that was good. The TV was in weird place where you have to stand to watch very bizarre.
