Idéalement situé en plein coeur d'Avignon, l'appartement est un véritable petit cocon où il fait bon vivre. Nous nous y sommes sentis très très bien.À noté : il est plus grand que ce qu'il n'a l'air sur les photos...L'hôte est irréprochable dans sa communication et son accueil.

The entrance to building felt list we had stepped back in time. The apartment was large, very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal. The owner met us at the door and personally showed us around, explaining how the washer and dryer and the kitchen appliances worked. The location was excellent. Located steps from the plaza, but on a very quiet street. We ate at two of the restaurants across the street. They were very good. We highly recommend staying there.

Host was very welcoming and left a bottle of wine, coffee, spices and well stocked supplies. She was prompt in answering my questions and suggested activities! The apartment is ideally located.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt zentral im historischen Zentrum,so dass man alles gut zu Fuss erreichen kann.Man muss ordentlich Treppen zum 3.Stockwerk hochsteigen,darunter auch verwinkelte; die Wohnung ist aber komplett eingerichtet, geräumig und hell, gemütlich und ruhig.Dominique hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns - auch schon im Vorfeld- viele wichtige Informationen und Empfehlungen für nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswertes gegeben.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können dieses Quartier gut weiter empfehlen.Dorothea und Norbert

My friend and I (both over 60) stayed for 3 nights in Dominique’s lovely apartment. The location, cleanliness and convenience wetr excellent. After long days, touring Avignon on foot, coming home was comforting. The kitchen was lovely with long windows and a view of the street. Travelers should be aware that it is a 3rd floor walk up flat with irregular stairs insidetge flat. Navigating this may be difficult for some (tall or unfit people). There is lots of natural light and a modern bathroom. Washer/dryer was also a plus! Dominique was responsive and charming.

Wonderful Location and Ambiance

This apartment is cleverly crafted within a centuries-old building close to major tourism sites. The host is pleasant and accommodating, and responsive to communications. Facilities provided are excellent. There are numerous restaurants and shopping areas nearby. The neighborhood is primarily a pedestrian zone. Tenants should be aware that there are narrow and/or irregular stairs within and outside the apartment.

wie haben es sehr genossen,unser Empfang in der Wohnung von Dominique war sehr, sehr nett und ihre Tipps fürr Lokale sehr gut.Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen.Die letzte Treppe ist etwas schwierig , steil und eng, aber gut zu gehen,wenn man langsam macht. Notre séjour à Avignon

Tout d'abord un grand merci Dominique pour votre accueil chaleureux, vos conseils pour les visites, et pour toute votre attention pendant notre séjour. Situé au centre d'Avignon, l'appartement et l'immeuble ont beaucoup de cachet et de charme, conforme aux photos. La climatisation est appréciable notamment lors de grosses chaleurs. Nous sommes arrivés à la fin du festival d'Avignon et avons beaucoup apprécié les spectacles de rue. Nous avons allié visites et bains de mer, et profité de très bons restaurants. Très bonnes vacances reposantes et ressourçantes.

Cocon douillet en plein au centre d’Avignon

Dominique est fabuleuse. Dès les premiers échanges avec nous, elle s’est offert de nous aider avec nos itinéraires de train/bus afin que l’arrivée, après un long voyage, se fasse facilement. Quel bel accueil!! Dominique est humaine, présente et disponible sans jamais devenir envahissante. L’appartement est très confortable. Étonnamment tranquille puisque situé au centre ville. Noter qu’Il y a beaucoup de marches à monter, dans l’immeuble, pour se rendre à l’appartement, et encore d’autres quand on y est puisqu’il est divisé en paliers. Tout y était pour y vivre facilement: literie suffisante, nécessaire à cuisiner, électros peu bruyants, climatisation facile à ajuster, douche spacieuse, et petites attentions de Dominique. Nous y étions début septembre, la chaleur était encore présente. Seul désagrément: lorsque nous ouvrions les fenêtres, en soirée, les odeurs des cuisines des restaurants asiatiques de la rue devenaient assez prononcées. Je retournerais avec plaisir chez Dominique, autant pour le lieu confortable et accueillant que pour rencontrer à nouveau Dominique.

Schöne Altstadtwohnung im Zentrum von Avignon

Zentraler geht es kaum, ganz in der Nähe des Place de l‘Horloge, und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Etwas Trittsicherheit braucht es zwar bei der engen Wendeltreppe; Wohnzimmer, Küche und Bad sind aber geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht. Dominique war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Merci beaucoup encore une fois!

The apartment was wonderful; great location and Dominique was very nice. I am 66 years old, so it was struggle to take my suitcase up to the third floor. Otherwise, I would recommend the apartment and the responsiveness of the owner.

A Superb Place to Stay ! One of our Best !

We absolutely loved this apartment and the host Dominique! Dominique met us at the apartment- this was so appreciated as so many VRBO rentals only have a lock box and no one that you meet in person. Dominique even had a bottle of Rosè chilling for us. She is a beautiful person that we already consider as a friend. The apartment is elegant, bright, and perfectly renovated. We could live here fully time ! The apartment had everything we could need, including air con, dishwasher, two fridges and of course, WiFi. This rates as one of our best VRBO rentals, and Dominique is one of the best hosts! We certainly highly recommend this wonderful place. We plan to return next year ! Rick and Marg W.

Location, location, location

Brilliantly situated right in the middle of old Avignon, a short walk from the train station - a perfect spot from which to explore both the city and surroundings. Warm and friendly host. But do note there are quite steep spiral stairs inside the flat.

Summer life in the Pope's city

Life in the house from the 18th century is very exciting. The location is perfect for all activities in Avignon. Surrounded by restaurants and nice shops and the market halls. The apartment is complete and very nicely furnished, everything is clean and immediately usable. But even nicer is dominique's service. She takes care of her guests and has provided us with great tips for restaurants and excursion destinations. Great holidays! Many thanks to Dominique.

Il ne nous avait pas été indiqué que l appartement s étalait sur 3 étages avec un escalier très étroit et difficile. Mais il était très bien situé et équipé . Nous avons apprécié la climatisation en cette période de canicule.
