Great stay

This condo is in a great location and super cute. There isn’t a view but it’s decorated nicely and it’s super close to the beach, restaurants and stores. Easy parking. We had a great stay.

Wonderful beach home

This place was so charming and in the perfect location to enjoy Avila Beach. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The house was spacious and comfortable. Great for our family of 4 + Grandma. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great get away in Avila.

Bedrooms are perfect for a 3-kid family and the master suite is private with its own bathroom. We all loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Very Nice Unit and Great Location but Too Noisy

The unit was very nice and very clean, and the location was convenient right in the heart of the town. But the alley in the back was loud every morning and evening.

October break with kids

My two grand nieces are off on fall break. This rental is so close to the main beach front restaurants and shops and beach. The unit was equipped with garbage bags, clothes soap, dishwasher soap, misc kitchen needs that is so convenient when staying for a short week. Even bath soap and shampoo. We had a few needs that when inquiring to the management staff, they responded immediately.

Room for everyone to be comfortable and had the gear we needed for the baby- pack and play, high chair, baby gate. Hard to beat the location- basically across from the beach and shops/restaurants. We never touched our car once we got there- walked to everything. Only complaint was the grill was out of propane, we didn't notice til after hours and couldn't get ahold of someone to replace it. Cooked inside, which worked, just wasn't the plan. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking garage is a huge plus. Only note, two of the rooms backup to the back alley of Custom House so it’s quite noisy at night and early morning because of staff prepping for the day.

Great ttime

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was very clean and comfortable. Would like instruction on how to use the tv's since we are not used to Ruku and steaming devices. In the paperwork that was sent it mentioned that beach towels were available on a first come basis. When we requested several beach towels they were all out. Several units were given at 6 towels. Suggestion would be to give less towels to units so that all units would be able to get at least 2-3 towels or purchase more towels and charge rentals for missing towels. Beach towels are cumbersome to take when traveling with food,kids and other vacation items.

Wonderful stay!

Location was excellent - quick walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Loved the electric fireplace in the living room, as well as ceiling fans there and in the master bedroom.Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the close proximity to breakfast spots and coffee shops, and easy jumping off point for SLO, Morro Bay and Cambria. The condo was spacious, well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Lounging in the living room in the evenings was an ideal way to end a busy day.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is amazing and close to the beach and downtown Avila. Additional amenities included hair dryers, TP, and a really fully stocked kitchen with great appliances as well as a pack and play in the master bedroom. The unit is spacious. The master bedroom is large. The other two bedrooms are great more for kids. The other two bedrooms do face the back alley of Mr. Rick’s and The Custom House. This is loud at closing when they are cleaning, but after that it is quiet. Seven Sisters was very accommodating and had loaner beach towels and some beach toys like shovels and buckets. We had a fun family reunion and will look to stay there again.

Graduation Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Sandcastle for Cal Poly grad weekend. Close enough to campus for events, far enough not to get caught up in crowds. Condo was clean and generally quiet, except for some rowdier guests next door. Complex backs up to Mission Pizza and Custom House restaurants, so really convenient for dining and walking the beach. Parking is also a major plus, as Avila gets crowded during the day on weekends. No ocean or mountain views from the condo, and the back bedrooms can get dark. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice. Otherwise nicely appointed for meals and get togethers.

Our trip happened to be at the coldest point in the winter. I would recommend that fellow winter travelers pack slippers as the tile floors are very cold and shoes are not allowed in the house. With slippers packed for our next trip, I would definitely rent this condo again. The dining area was a good space for everyone to sit and enjoy meals together. The gas fireplace and comfortable couch were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Nice folks - Had to cancel trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were booked to spend a glorious 3 day weekend with my two best friends in Avila at one of their units. Tragically, one of the two friends was hospitalized about 10 days before the trip. Being that she was in ICU, I knew things were bad and the trip was doomed. I spoke with Kathleen and she was so kind and supportive. Terri responded by email and was also kind and accommodating.Our dear friend ended up dying about a week after the trip was scheduled to begin. We had trip insurance through Seven Sisters and I am now jumping through all of those hoops to recover the money. They use Generali/CSA which has been less than helpful and accommodating. Going back, I should've declined the insurance and purchased travel insurance separately through companies we've booked insurance with in the past. In times like these, you hope that these insurance companies will do the right thing, but I am going to have to work for it. Overall, Seven Sisters was kind and accommodating during a very painful time for us.The star ratings in my review wouldn't let me select n/a, so obviously, those aren't applicable as we never got to stay. Thank you!

Highly recommendMission Pizza next door. Loved the gated, quietcourtyard. I felt safe letting my oldestdaughter open the door and walk out while wewere getting ready to head out the door. Allthe bedrooms are upstairs which was perfectfor our family. My only complaint was that theback two bedrooms got pretty hot even withthe window open frequently and fan on. Buteverything else was perfect. Kitchenamenities, cleanliness, layout, location. Loved it all!
