「We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and everything is really well considered. It has a lovely fireplace with more than ample wood...

「I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues.」

Interesting set up in the matted bedroom, but those beds were comfy! Did feel like you were in someone else's home and they just stepped out for a minute. Good if very small people, shower very small. Mold in small shower too.」

「We stayed as a multigenerational group for my mum's 70th and the entire stay was magical. The cottages have been built with incredible craftsmanship and love into the small details. The kitchens and living areas are good sizes with all amenities taken care of. The games room and games lawn were a huge hit with the kids as was the wildlife in the woods and the pond. We didn't even need to leave the site as there was so much to do.」

「This was a fantastic place to stay: clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location just around the corner from Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Although it is in the pedestrian-friendly walking district, parking was still easy and convenient. And the location is great for exploring town. The host provided excellent directions for getting in, which made arrival simple and stress-free. The space had a very nice layout and everything felt thoughtfully arranged.
