My vacation crew and I very much enjoyed the house. However it’s really out there. Not much around to do, eat, shop, etc. there’s places just not many. It was an hour away from Nags head and all of them and the drive was nothing my road sand dunes. Nice drive, it was just a lot. There was sandspur’s really bad all over the place. We all got pricked numbers of times. And mosquitoes were horrible. We all got ate up by them. Also maybe something was wrong with the a/c it’s feel great and then if would be very hot.

Hike through cactus field to the beach

House is ok, like any other affordable beach house in OBX. Spacious for the 6 of us. The beds are a bit stiff for us, but others might prefer super firm beds. It's in walking distance of Kitty Hawk Kites, Life is Good, and Fisherman's daughter store. Food Lion and Duck Donuts within 10 mins drive away. The house is right on the street. It can be a bit loud, but it didn't bother us. The walk to the ocean is kind of far especially when the path is all sand with tiny cactus popping up once in a while. It's a narrow path and if you leave it, you'll find lots more cactus.The beach is quiet and there are birds, deer, lizards, for you to watch from the deck.

House was decent, a little dated. Beach was a walkable distance but watch your step to avoid the prickly pear cactus along the path.

Sunrise sunset

Great location and privacy. Nice kitchen and family room though hard to use tv system. Never could get first level tv to work. Could use some updating and new mattresses but overall very clean and we had everything we needed.
