OBX - Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves

We stayed at Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves for two weeks. OBX has been our family vacation destination for decades and we all travel far to get here for the family reunion. This house was exactly what we needed with the direct beach access and allowing pets. This was the first time we ventured to the Avon area, and enjoyed walking distance to the local stores, restaurants, bike rental, gym and the beach club where we attended a rock concert. We also enjoyed the proximity of the bay. The house was clean, well equipped and we did not have any technical issues. Overall we are happy with this rental and will be coming back next year.

Christmas 2023

House was in good shape just very dated. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies. Liquid soap, dish washer detergent and laundry detergent were not supplied and we had to buy our own, along with wine glasses. The listing listed a working gas fireplace but there was no gas to connect itvto when we arrived and the management company (Brindly Beach) never corrected the issue or even responded to our maintenence requests to have it fixed. Overall, i would rent again but we had issues with the rental company.
