Very run down, old and creepy. Something out of a horror film! Rooms very dated - even the suites! Comfy bed however. Breakfast - nothing to rave about. Locks on the door broken, toilets not cleaned well, no air con. Ok for a stop over but I would not take my family here

Room was very clean and was enormous ( in main building and up lots of stairs ). Problem with hot water solved within minutes . Staff generally courteous and efficient . Good to have use of the pool . Evening food was acceptable , not exceptional. Breakfast also average ( poor selection of bread; need to order fried eggs.)

A good sized hotel situated off a main road but maintaining privacy. My room was in an adjacent building across the courtyard. The room was nice and tidy and the bed gave a great night's sleep. I used the onsite gym facility they have. The equipment was a little old but everything was there to provide a really good workout even with Smooth radio providing a weird soundtrack for a workout. There was a lovely breakfast on hand in the morning and got my day off to a good start. I would definitely look at staying here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made a great first impression. The facilities were excellent – the pool was spotless and relaxing, the gym was well-equipped, and the sauna and steam room were a wonderful bonus for unwinding after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and happy to assist with any requests. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about guests’ comfort. Overall, this hotel offers amazing value for money. With the quality of the amenities, cleanliness, and service, it easily rivals more expensive options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely receptionist upgraded me from a single to a small double at no extra charge. Comfy bed and lots of hot water for a bath. Checkout wasn’t until 11am which gave time for a morning swim and sauna. Very civilised.

Very dated building, there was a strong smell of damp, and leaking roof. The rooms were cold, and not very clean. The whole place has potential if money spent to refresh and clean up.

Overnight stay in Room 117, a bit of a maze to find and a lot of stairs, so if you have any disability, don’t pick that one. Room was clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom facility and quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and Evening meal had a good selection and was nicely cooked. Made use of the Indoor Pool, which was very clean and attractive, they use a booking system so it doesn’t get overcrowded.

The bathroom smelt foisty it was an unpleasant smell the bed was two single beds push together the joint of the beds stuck up so it was uncomfortable.we had asked for a double bed not twin beds, don’t say double room if it isn’t a double room! there was a hole in the sheet, the towels looked old off white . Windows did not close properly reception staff not helpfully at all.

Wouldn't rush back

Very dated rooms with an uncomfortable bed. Reception staff were lovely, bar staff quite brisk and not very welcoming. There was a wedding being held there on the second day which meant that the restaurant was unavailable and the bar area was full of wedding guests which made us feel like interlopers. Breakfast was nice though!
