My only complaint, and it may be isolated to our specific room, was that the AC was very loud, and cycled on and off every few minutes all night, even when set fairly high (like 75). That said it was a very hot week, and ear plugs helped.”

“I have stayed at this location several years prior and it was decent. Unfortunately this time was a different story. I had rented a king room with a whirlpool tub. The tub had one towel present, the switch to turn it on and off the tub jets was broken and it wouldn't shut off at all. It ran the whole night. I think my diesel pickup would have been quieter. While it was draining the jets were just getting uncovered it shot water all over the room. There was no way to stop that from……

“Unique!! Yes! Very Old Dishevled Building. No Security. Zero amenities The advertised DID NOT Exist!! FILTHY FLOORS. Water Faucets do not work! No screens in the windows. Every Other Room is SMOKING!! The place is an ash try!! Some Staff Member used my debit Card! There Employees live permantly It run by Capital Vacations!! Stay in a tent At least you would know what you have!! !”

“This getaway was everything that I needed. It was quiet and tranquil. I enjoyed all the amenities. I'll likely make this an annual trip. I loved every aspect of the place. It surpassed my expectations.”

“This was the worst motel I have ever experienced. There was no hotel staff on the property. The room temp was extremely cold and there was no way to adjust the AC. When I moved the shower curtain the rod fell on my head. The bathroom was dirty and moldy caulk. I called Expedia to cancel and they had to contact the hotel to do that. Expedia attempted to call them and did not get an answer. I contacted my CC company immediately to advise that I would be disputing this $844 charge. I recommend……

“Beautiful property, well cared for, clean and so comfortable. Plenty of room for us all (we had 6 people) Beds were amazingly comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were stocked and clean. We honestly had no issues. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond when we had a question, and Causeway amenities were all wonderful. We had a wonderful time.”
