A very friendly Lady checked us in. She was so helpful : where to park our bikes, where to dry the laundry (After a long day biking in 35 degrees C). We got a room with a Tiny kitchen, excellent. And the hotel is very nice and has a friendly Atmosphere . Good price /quality level.

The staff was really helpful with a late arrival and a key tresor is in place. The room was okay for the price. The hotel can easily step up a category with better mattress and appliances. Service, cleanliness and the breakfast was really good.

We arrived to find that breakfast would not be available due to ‘staffing problems’, and were offered free cancelation if we chose. We decided to look at the room first, and it was great, almost an apartment, so we stayed. The town of Friedrichshall has a medieval centre well worth a walking tour, and although the major hotel at the castle has a restaurant, we decided to order instead from the all-purpose pizza place across the road, which turns out to offer a huge range of meals - and especially good Indian cuisine. Am Eck was just a convenient location on our drive across Europe, but ended up being very enjoyable. Parking is free very near to the hotel, but there’s no elevator. We’d stay again and next time maybe we’d get breakfast!

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer, alles war sauaber und ordentlich. Die Organisation klappte sehr gut. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere die freundliche und persönliche Versorgung und Betreuung. Wir kommen gerne bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder.

Ich war nur eine Nacht da ich eine Fahrradtour machte. Ich kam spät abends an. Da ich dies vorher tel. mitteilte wurde mir der Schlüssel hinterlegt. Auch die Abreise am frühen morgen war problemlos. Das Zimmer war sauber und einfach.

Ich habe auf die schnelle noch eine Übernachtungsunterkunft gebraucht und bin auf das Hotel am Eck gestoßen. Ich kam an und wurde sehr freundlich am Empfang begrüßt. Selbst wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt wäre, habe ich dafür eine super Easy Self-Check-In Anweisung bekommen. Ich habe ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber was ich bekommen habe, war größer als ich gedacht habe, bzw größer als die Doppelzimmer die ich von anderen Hotels gewohnt bin. Selbst eine Küche und ein großer Balkon war in dem Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Es war alles super sauber und ordentlich hingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet am Morgen, war super lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Viele kleine Gläschen mit verschiedenen Aufstrichen, Salaten usw sodass man wirklich von allem probieren konnte. Es war alles dabei was das Herz begehrt (Wurst, Käse, Rührei, auf nachfrage sogar ein Spiegelei, waffeln, pizzabrötchen, obstsalte, Brot, Brötchen, kuchen, Müsli, Gemüse) Bei der Marmeladenauswahl war von klassisch bis exotisch alles dabei aber super super lecker. Kaffee wurde von der Frühstücksdame serviert. Auch hier wieder super freundlich und gesprächig. Alles in allem, eine wirklich tolle familiäre Unterkunft, in der man nicht nur Gast XY ist sondern auch noch nett kommuniziert wird. Ich würde auf jeden Fall immer wieder hier übernachten. Wirklich eine absolute Empfehlung.

Ich weiß nicht, ob es die Schuld von Expedia oder des Hotels ist, aber bei der Zimmerauswahl gab es schöne Bilder und eine gute Ausstattung. In Wirklichkeit schliefen wir in Betten mit Bettwäsche, die wie aus zweiter Hand aussah oder von Hotels, die sie ausrangiert hatten. Ich weiß nicht, womit die Handtücher gewaschen wurden, aber sie waren rau und hatten eine dunkle Farbe vom Waschen.Die Heizung im Bad funktionierte nicht. In der Beschreibung stand etwas von Fußbodenheizung, aber das stimmt nicht. Auch in der Herberge fanden wir solche Bedingungen nicht vor. Nur die Zimmergröße stimmte. Ich zahlte wie für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, hatte aber Angst, meinen Kopf auf das Kissen zu legen.

Personal können wir nicht beurteilen da wir niemanden gesehn haben. Schlüssel lag bereit zum abholen und wurde auch dort wider deponiert. Wer gerne heiss duscht hat pech da kommt nur ganz wenig wasser. Ansonsten war es für eine Nacht ganz ok sauber unkompliziert und ruhig.
