「This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. 「This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. 「The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! 」

「Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were...

「We enjoyed or stay and the view was terrific. Deck furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner says she is eliminating washcloths but when we asked she provided a couple more. What would have made our stay better would have been a washer/dryer available and access to that beautiful upstairs bathroom off the master bedroom which made that nice bedroom unusable with only toilet and sink available.」

「I spent 8 days there with my husband. The house is wonderful, very spacious, clean and equipped with everything you would need to live there all summer long (which we wished we could have). We were there in September, so it was nice to have a fire in a large wood stove in the evenings. The place is decorated with original artwork. The surroundings are beautiful, and the lake is great for canoeing and swimming. It is so very peaceful there. At the same time, it is located close to the Cabot Trail...

「This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.」
