「Hotel a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese, dotato di ampio parcheggio. Bello l'ingresso dove si è accolti da personale cortese e preparato. La struttura è pulita, silenziosa e confortevole. In camera avevamo l'idromassaggio e il bagno turco. La vasca con l'idromassaggio, dopo una giornata trascorsa in giro con più di 40 gradi, ci ha rigenerati. Ottimo il ristorante dove abbiamo cenato davvero bene. Rimanendo una sola notte, non abbiamo provato la Spa, peccato. Se passate da Castel del Piano...

「This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.」

「Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)」

"The hotel should clearly inform guests at check-in if a suggested gratuity will be added to their bill, and explain that it is entirely optional. Although we understood that we could decline it, discovering this charge without any prior notice left us feeling caught off guard and uncomfortable. Tipping should be a voluntary gesture of appreciation, rather than something guests have to ask to have removed. Greater transparency would have made a real difference to our experience."
