“Jasmine was extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room and bed were comfortable in a standard double bungalow and the air-conditioning and fan were very efficient. We enjoyed the pool too cool off and the food was good. Jasmine organised a local driver for us- Nhat, and he was excellent, very flexible with time dropping us and coming back to pick us up when we were ready. Very good value and a safe driver (not always easy to find in Vietnam).”

“Anh and the ninh binh palm homestay provided us with one of our most memorable stays in vietnam. Anh is fluent in english and more than willing to provide assistance in booking further transport or suggesting activities in the surrounding areas. We were able to hire a scooter from the homestay for a very fair price which helped us greatly. The room was very clean, the bathroom was perfect with high pressure hot water in the shower. “The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. The location is away from the main homestay areas (although very close to Hoa Lu and the Trang An Boat Ride entrance) as well as any shops. They have a decent food offering, we found it useful to supplement with eating in town and bringing……

“We stayed four nights and loved every minute. Our room was gorgeous and the little patio looking out onto the river was perfect. It was so quiet!!! We were close to town but felt so far away by the peacefulness. The restaurant is great and offers good prices on their meals. Their coconut coffee was AMAZING! “Overall nice place to stay, however, be aware that the location is quite remote and you will need transportation to go anywhere. The staff were lovely and the food was home cooked and excellent. Some of the best food we have had in Vietnam. The drinks menu was very limited. Just beer really. There is no bar. Our room was lovely, but it was very dark inside. “The hotel is amazing! It’s away from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. It’s just a few minutes from town away by car (a Grab ride costs about USD 1.50).
