「An excellent base for visiting the Peak District. The flat was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Off road parking and use of a private garden was lovely. A quiet village location, 20 minute walk into Youlgrave with shops and pubs. We had an excellent meal at The George Hotel which we would recommend. Thank you Elaine for making our stay so easy.」

「Very nice cottage just minutes from pedestrian entrance to chatsworth house. Unfortunately our 2 dogs arent used to people outside walking by and people walk by from 5am which meant we got a barking symphony very regularly! The dogs loved the park and the peaks. Pubs and places to eat close by. Everything we needed in cottage and a bottle of preseco waiting which is a nice touch」

「It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. "The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had a pleasant conversation with them during check-in and check-out. The room was tidy and well-maintained. When I requested additional coffee packs from housekeeping, they generously provided me with more than I expected. The room is well-equipped with plenty of electrical sockets, which is very convenient. However, the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and could be improved."
